Well this is one of the 'crunch matches' in Hibs quest to wrench the 2nd spot from Rangers and the Dons. I'm expecting Killie to take points from a disjointed Rangers team and management. So this makes this fixture even more significant if the Hibs can win it. But it will be tough because they have home advantage. However, I see Neil Lennon as a 'learning manager' and the last disappointing Hibs result at Pittodrie was one for the manager to ponder over and learn how to do it the next time. I say nullify Shinnie's presence for starters and also if GMS starts the game on our right wing, we deal with him 'under orders' and 'no messing'. We are a 'form team' coming to Pittodrie and I'm expecting Hibs to take this on as though it was a cup final, such is the importance of Hibs positive progress up to this point in the footie season and with Kamberi 'leading the line'. Have we lost a game with Kamberi 'up front'? I can't recall us losing a match but I maybe wrong! C'mon Hibs and keep up the momentum but shore up that defence - take heed of that warning v Killie last weekend and 'tighten up'!

Hibs to get a decent away point, but we really need 3. Another tense game with lots at stake and lots of mistakes from both teams.

IMO if we somehow take the 3 pts, it will be a pivotal moment in Hibs 'charge' for that 2nd spot but it will be tough but not impossible.

Aberdeen are playing well just now,but they will likely ship points to sevco. That's what they do.
A point wouldn't be a bad result, but I think we can go and get the 3 points. But we will need a much sharper defensive showing that last week.

I can never tell, our bogey side is Motherwell and we naturally capitulate against the old firm
We have players who can change games and players who can lose them magnificently (Considine, Reynolds)
Lot harder season to get the I guess traditional second place(And still half the fans want rid of Derek), hugely impressive seasons from Hibs and latterly Killie, Hearts had their moments, Rangers for all their cash and support have been a real mixed bag
You have hard a superb season and IMO a superb Manager who thankfully has fallen under the radar, really have rated him
Building something very special it seems, I have followed the Hibs board since it`s inception on here through some pretty dark moments now confidently talking about the RU spot!

I'd call it positive progress TD and, no matter what the result is on Saturday, I expect with reasonable confidence that Lenny will improve this current Hibs team with some astute management and signings in the close season. The Hibs board has given him the 'tools' and the backing to bring out his undoubted ability to succeed as a manager.

Thought the performance was good enough with ambrose and whitaker both v good indeed,2nd half aberdeen played better but i don't recall them having huge chances in the game. I think if mclaren had scored that pk we would have gone on to win. In the end i think lenny wanted to make sure we didn't concede as priority and we got the point, and so we did. Mind last time we were up there we got absolutely humped?
A draw suits us a bit more than them i think, their record against sevco is embarrassing. So on that basis i think a result at the PBS will give us all to play for.
With ref to sevco sneaking the win v killie - i notice clarke was scathing about the referee. Seems like the huns got their customary helping hand.

Aye Jim. I read the same 'sentiments' tonight after missing their match report and no surprise TBH. The latent 'unhealthy interest' in Rangers fortunes' is confirmed again and that is the bigger threat. Our game 'sucks' up here when it comes to this stuff and is as bad as listening to night after night of bbc Sportsound's continuous irritating f####### coverage of Rangers FC - as bad as the disproportionate shit they covered when Rangers were a 'nothing footie club' in the lower Scot leagues - still obsessively wanting to talk about them!!!
