Drewks, we're going down ..... even if saints swans draw, man city will beat saints but stoke won't beat the swans ... their late equaliser in big Dave's first game will be the goal that sends us down ....

All highly improbable, but enjoy the rollercoaster  Big Grin

Thanks for the clarification Ska’d. BT Sport didn’t really clarify it for me.

You guys will have to enjoy the rollercoaster for me considering I won’t be able to watch the match. When the match is in progress, I’ll be in Florence attending Fiorentina vs Cagliari at the same time.

It is typical of Albion to start doing well after I’ve already booked to go away for the end of the season. It’s probably better for my heart and stress levels anyway. Confused

Beefy, your right the ineptitude of AP, TP and the board. Board should have dealt with the situation sooner ......

But in our mini season if we had scored a second or held on to 1 - 0, our goal difference would -1 or -2 worse than Saints ..... but here's the thing points wise saints would be on 33, we would be on 33 and Swansea would be on 32.
Swansea would play for the draw on Tuesday knowing they have Stoke and Saints have Man City ... our goal difference is better than Swanseas but our last game is harder ...
Then it would've been a case of if Saints beat Swansea our goal difference would be close enough for us to overhaul them as they will probably have a heavy defeat to Man City.

It it's a draw on Tuesday i fancy our chances of staying up .... oh but then there's stoke ... a fly in the ointment.

get rid of the dead wood players
fresh approach
wanted to say a new manager/coach
but big dave is making a big statement to give him the job
whatever the top brass at the club have in mind
they HAVE to keep this guy in some capacity

Good for you guys though, if Soton and Swansea draw you will go to the final day of the season with a chance to stay up, no one would have believed that if you had said it 5 weeks ago!!!

I have a feeling soton will beat swansea midweek. But west brom have done really well of late. Their manager seems a good bloke, any chance of him getting kept on ?

He deserves to be on the shortlist at the very least, and as a long-time cult hero at the club, fans are split between those who want him to carry on what he's started and those who fear he might get sussed out over a long Championship season, which would lead to him getting turfed out when we'd all prefer him to be here in some capacity for years to come.

But of course, it all rests with the owners, and I suspect they'll look for someone with a longer track record.
