But there are good footballers in the Vanarama too.  We need to aim to create a side that would be capable of fighting for the play-offs in Division Two, even to get ourselves back into that division.

I don't think Macclesfield or Sutton could be classed as cloggers. (By the way Byron Harrison was named in the Team of the Week for his 45 minutes in Sutton's abandoned game, they comment suggested the opposition would have been pleased not to face another half up against him.)

As to our loans, Matlock were waterlogged again, and Brewster got 23 minutes as sub when Chorley's best player got injured, but didn't rate a mention otherwise.

Still think we should never have got rid of Harrison.

The Vanarama (Conference) has come on strong in the last few years and there isn't much difference between L2 and the Conference.

This is it now! We've been let off again today after Wycombe came back to beat Grimsby 2-1, we need to start taking advantage of the 3 games in hand we have over Barnet and Grimsby and Saturday is going to be a massive massive game as Grimsby have not won a game in 20 matches and if we can't beat them then we may as well just give up.

I gave up when we gave "Calders and Branners" our budget in summer. From that point it was downhill all the way.

As a player of any sport I can never remember having given up .......... but the last two seasons have destroyed my resilience. Cookie's decision to leave was definitely the point at which we immediately began to unravel. Under Deano and Danny, though we were bad ......... we'd been bad before ........ quite a lot, I still had hope. We didn't know it then but that bad run under Danny and his sacking - that was the day the music died. I said pre-season I was praying for 22nd place. Now everyone has joined me. I'm still praying, but I'm thinking 24th.

I'd sign Guthrie this afto and play him with Dennis on Saturday, but Forest Green will probably grab him back ............

Whoever Guthrie is he surely is a better option than O Grady.I cant believe some people on that message board are wanting him to start .He is f*&^%king useless and offers nothing to the team. I'm 55 ,6ft1 and 17st and I could do a better job ,seems like a nice bloke though so I don't want to be too critical !

My dogs a better option than O'Grady. She has a brilliant attack against a ball and has perfectly honed her skill of bursting it with one bite. With 8 games abandoned at the end of the season we might just stand a chance of the FL feeling sorry for us.

Just another nail in the coffin but everybody seems to be ignoring the fact that we might have a points deduction looming. It would be just our luck if we won 4 out of 8 then had a 10pt deduction.

Don't think we'll get 10. It was only 9 for money laundering and drug-dealing.

Guthrie was released by Colchester. They got him from Forest Green. He's a centre forward, he's a free agent and he scores goals. What more do we need to know? Doubt he's the nicest man considering his mutual-agreed Colchester departure.

If Popeye were available right now, I wouldn't even ask if he had his spinach with him.

Ricky German scored last night.

At this stage any points deduction will surely come into play next season .
Ricky's one for the future they say Dev ,depends if Jack wants him ....if Jack is here himself.i would definitely have him in front of OG.
