You are well ahead in the stats except the important one!! You really should be at least level!! You should have had a penalty when Smalling handballed in the area, why wasn’t VAR used to look at that, it was pretty clear??

VAR got the correct result in the end, took a bit too long but Mata was just offside!! There was no way the Linesman was ever going to see that, it was so close and for as long as I can remember you gave the advantage to the attacker, but VAR is a lot more accurate then the naked eye and he was at least 5mm offside!!!!!!

If we play like that every week for the rest of the season, we stay up. No question about it

Yeah, we were all over them. Against a shakier defence or team without a pair of attacking players worth more than our entire squad to hit us on the break we should be fine. Feels like we’ve got our mojo back since that extra time at brum.

I came to the conclusion while watching on TV that it was a choreographed chant from both sets of fans. I could hear "We all hate Liverpool and Man City" repeated. Which I assumed was coming from Utd fans. Then a much louder rendition of "We all hate Leeds scum", giving the impression many more were chanting the Leeds verse. Or maybe they hate Leeds more than Liverpool and City, but I doubt it to be honest.  Doh

The match was so much like a couple of frustrating games from last season where we dominated so much, couldn't get the breakthrough and got hit on the break.
Yes Jose, your team played like Wigan and Burton. Sick Doh

2. Matches still to play.

As for VAR, what a joke. We get denied a clear penalty for handball, but then get on the lucky side of a disallowed goal for offside. If it's millimetres offside, it's not a clear and decisive mistake from the liner and should've stood.

And when we played City at this stage last season, there was a full house at the JSS. Where were those missing 6,000 fans yesterday? Huh

Enjoyed the game, we gave it our all and had the better chances we created not fell to an out of sorts Ince we might have sneaked something.

Disappointed greatly with the support, 14000 home fans or less if you take out all the reds in the home seats, enough said elsewhere about the ticket pricing and timing / half tem / live on the box, but jeepers we have some fickle fcukers for the crowd to drop almost 40% from last Sunday - anyhow moving on....

We had a solid first 45 not reflected in the TV highlights, we are (and have been) susceptible to a quick break and slick one touch passing and Schindy's lack of pace and turning circle once again questioned ( at the very highest level against the very best that is).
2nd half they got hold of it more, Mounie barely had a touch and when Waggers swapped the full backs without altering the formation I saw the white flag had gone up and that was that for the last 20.

If we can withstand the aerial and corner bombardment that WBA pose next week offensively I think we can go there in good spirits with a sell out support right behind us.
