The youth team made it back to back wins on Saturday thrashing of Bradford City 5-1.

After some good build up play, Charlie Wakefield’s excellent through ball found striker Luke Rawson, who calmly rounded the goalkeeper before rolling the ball into the net.

Ify Ofoegbu then doubled the Spireites’ lead, when he met a Wakefield corner with a powerful header, before Rawson got his second of the game and 16th of the season, when he headed in Wakefield’s cross from left flank.

Rawson then got on the end of Jamie Sharman’s pass down the right, before advancing into the area and teeing up strike partner Levi Amantchi, who made it 4-0 with a cool finish.

The visitors then pulled a goal back from the penalty spot, but the Spireites’ emphatic win was sealed, when Amantchi got his second and fourth in his last two matches, holding off two Bantams defenders before back-heeling the ball into the net.

If things don't work out with Jack could Miguel Llera be the next first team coach ? .He seems to be doing a cracking job with the Youth team .

Blue, do I detect you are having second thoughts about Jack?

I cant go raving when we have lost 7 out of last 10.I want us to get back to the easy on the eye stuff which I saw against such as Mansfield and Forest Green home .Thats what got me raving. As Ive said we seem to have sacrificed the flair for a more solid approach but we are no better results wise . .

Oh give Jack a couple of years. We have to give someone time. He'll get us back into Division Two. Let him work with Llera and the boys he's bringing through. Apparently Jack watches their progress. Reports on Sharman suggest he is worth a contract. I think we should look after Rawson and Amantchi. It seems the only worry with Hand is his size as his position seems to be centre back. Charlie seems to be the victim of a bit of a raw deal, in that his career was fast-forwarded then paused, but I'm guessing he just needs time on the men's game to see whether he can come through, or not. And Iffy always sounds potentially useful. Different positions don't sound as though they faze him, he can score a goal, step up to take a penno. Surely we're building some basis for a proper club beneath the chaos on top? I fear time IS running out on us this season. Defeat tonight would be a devastating blow, but how much worse would it have been if we'd brought in a sixty-year-old vastly experienced man to save us and we'd ended up in the same position? With Jack we've got a new dog, prepared to try new tricks. We might have got an old dog who saw the Vanarama as a chance to spend a nice season dozing in front of a fire on the way to his pension.
