For me, Rondon would be dropped as the attacks always break down with him failing to trap the ball and lay off simple 5 yard passes into midfield. It's no surprise to me that our best performance of the season against Liverpool came when he didn't get on the pitch. Although I can see Pardew dropping Sturridge. If this happens, I'll question what the point in signing him was. He showed moments of class against Southampton that Rondon has never shown.
An alternative if we want to flood the midfield would be to drop a forward and play Burke on the left. Thought he looked bright against Southampton. But I guess he will not even make the bench now we have players returning from injury.

You could bring me in on loan, I’m probably not quite PL quality like the rest of you but I will try hard and give it everything I have!!! Besides if it doesn’t work out for you guys I am certainly cheaper and will fit right into the Championship!!!!
