Southern/Mid France - was in UK last 2 weeks, paid my respects to Mr Regis.
Drove back to France yesterday/today - overnight ferry (Portsmouth - Caen) bit of a shock as 6 inches
of snow in Northern France - Less as I drove south, but nippy. Gets Hot in the summer and stays
hot for 3 months.

Sounds good Phil, not much use for me as my better half can't do the sun ....... even a weeks holiday abroad is difficult. Glad you got back safe ... that's quite a drive.

I'd agree with this line up; my only worry is McAuley to be honest. We don't really have an alternative as I'd worry about throwing Gabr in, in a game like this. Looks like he could be another bargain like Hegazi though.

I'm expecting Sturridge to get another start in this game, although would be better if we brought him on early in the 2nd half to get his fitness and sharpness up.

I agree about McAuley but I think it depends on who Chelsea play upfront. If they play Giroud then I think McAuley will do fine against him. If Hazard plays as a false 9 then I'd be worried about his pace against McAuley.

The alternative would be Nyom in at right back and Dawson central with Hegazi in a conventional back 4. (4-4-2 possession and 4-4-1-1 out of possession). I think Gabr needs settling in time before he starts to appear on the bench and then maybe in the starting 11.

I think Ali Gabr is yet to attain a work permit
So I think McAuley may start
