Get in! Tongue

Just seen the goal. That's got to go down as Tom Ince's.

Well that sounded better. All Town after the equaliser. And so to extra time.

All under control (eventually). Hopefully there will be a confidence boost to take into our league campaign.

26 shots, 13 on target - don't think we've had that many combined since we beat Watford.

A happy Wagbo - let 'em off the leash again Sunday

Good to see Scanz on the pitch and looking lively. BBC common tater on 5 Live Sports Extra - "he hasn't figured much this season". No shit Sherlock, given he's been at Burton on loan. (Yes I spelled it that way deliberately - great research you plonker).

Highlights and goals. Radio BBC WUM common tater making a mess of deciding which Town players did what. Oggy can be heard, whispering loudly, into his microphone next to him Laugh

Is that the first time this season we've come from behind to win?

First half we looked the out of sorts feeling sorry for ourselves Prem club we've got ourselves into of late.
Smith bombing up the touch line until he hit the laser on the half way line and has to turn back did my nut in.
Thankfully his knock resulted in his replacement with Flo H at HT and the game changed.
Despite falling behind to a good turn and shot after their chap won the header - both centre backs will need to replay the video there we repsonded well and so did the fans who upped the volume.

never seen so many shots in one night, Big Col in the cold his legs just dont function and he shot wide numerous times, took 2-3 touches to get it under control, Ince snatching at things looked like we might never get one never mind 4.

Once we got the equaliser we had other chances to kill it off before full time, their keeper sitting on a follow up at one point, a couple of hairy moments up the other end too but we took control, grew into the 2nd half and found width both sides to always look threatening at least. VLPs introduction pivotal allowing Malone to raid and his cross set up Mounie's nodd in, VLP rammed home the keepers save and the ground emptied at 3-1.

Once Ince scored a very good strike up the other end half the remaining 2000 went leaving the 558 townies to stay freezing their cockles off, having missed the last train home and delight in seeing a win away.

We needed a win of any kind and the prospect of a mouth watering cup tie to keep the interest bubbling along, perhaps a week off may have had a similar outcome who knows if we lost.

Zanka and Kongolo were excellent, Flo H very good and adventurous, Mooy got better but was guilty of slowing it down way too much first 60 mins, Ince bright but tends to keep hold of it too long the goal and his part of the equaliser should do him good, Mounie battled and is finally seeing him do the ugly side his role in England demands. Billing was the star man throughout, lots of energy, passing and making us tick which after a couple of poor games was good to see him returning to the level expected.

Not sure if the wiggly arm thing happened afterwards as I went after applauding them a few moments and thought an ET win didnt deserve such high jinx.

Pleased to have advanced and full credit to the away fans who bothered.
