The games are arriving 'thick n fast' and this is another one, during the 'winter season', that Hibs should win but it is a potential 'banana skin'. My concern is that some of our players could be 'leggy', and who can blame them, but that prob is retrospective and will be the same for the 'steelmen'. Therefore 'freshen up the team' a wee bit and push on to win this game! I'd like to see Maclaren given a starting place as I thought his attacking movement and positioning at Celtic Park was good albeit he should have scored our equaliser. We 'shot ourselves in the foot' in the last home match v M'well in a 2-2 draw but their two goal hero, Moult, has now gone - same performance please but this time win it Hibs!

The last game will stick in our throats for a while but Wednesday is an ideal chance to put it to bed for good.
The team are moving the ball around pretty well and we should build upon our performance during the second half at Parkhead.
I agree with you 0762 MacLaren looks a good prospect and deserves a starting slot. A win for us is on the cards with possibly a clean sheet to go with it.

Motherwell are a tricky side to play, I think its going to be a tough game for us. The team put in a real shift on Saturday.... Fingers crossed we come out of it in good nick and get the 3 pts

I've just about warmed up now! But that was just what the doctor ordered, a good 3 points and a decent performance. Thought the team had a real "spring in their step" from the off, which hasn't been the way at home much this season. Was very impressed with kamberi, he worked his socks off and scored a good goal, he looks quick but he held the ball up well too and won his share of headers. Frustrating for slivka, who I felt was just coming onto a game, him and Macgregor will now miss the sevco game unfortunately and I felt we lost our shape when they went off last night. 2nd goal was an absolute beauty, with barker finally getting "off the mark".
Motherwell are a good side I think, physically strong but they have lots of pace too. They were pushing on for a equaliser late on but we held firm!
Maybe I'm wrong but I think a weights been lifted off the team now that whole thing with stokes has been resolved.

Deserved 3 points for HFC last night after all the negative press going around about stokes etc.
Thought the new signing fitted in really well linking up the play making telling runs and seems to have struck up a good understanding with barker.
Hopefully it all settles down and we can put a string of results together.
