Seems AC dropped a bit of a clanger and has agreed to pay £750k for a night with tribute act Lionel Twitchie. His singing is legendary but he keeps throwing his head to one side imitating his parrot shouting Hello, Hello.
I really cant wait for this to be announced, there will be so many disappointed people around.

I remember when Tom Jones came they were selling tickets late on for a fraction of the original price so might wait until nearer time.
Richie is also on at Scarborough Donny and Lincs showground among many others on his tour.

Donny not on the list Blue but some of the other venues are strange to say the least, Northampton, Carlisle, Holkham, Shrewsbury and for gods sake Leigh???????? It really is a national tour.
A Thursday night with Lionell Richie? If that makes money I will be amazed.

Well the owner is in his 70s the CEO looks about 70 The chairman must be getting on that way so I suspect Beyonce or the Arctic Monkeys werent considered .
In fact we are behind the times with just about everything ,for example most clubs have these teasing introductions to new players but I guess we don't employ anyone creative or IT literate enough to do this. Even Mansfield do it !
Talking of new signings, Northampton have signed Kevin Van Veen ,what a signing that is for them ! .

I know peoples taste in music varies wildly but Lionell Ritchie hasn't exactly set the world alight with new releases of late. Is he still an International singing star? He may have been 25 years ago but has he still got it or did he ever have it? All I can remember is the absolutely crap video that accompanied "Hello" with the blind sculptress, it looked nothing like Richie (prob not a bad thing).
I can see this one flopping so I hope we are getting a fee rather than a ticket percentage.
