Just got back. Brief analysis.
Poor first half, Reading had more possession, both teams had 1 good chance, we scored they didn't.
2nd half we played better, both teams had chances, we were more clinical than them in front of goal.

Wildsmith 7
Hunt 5
Venancio 7
Liability 4
Pudil 7
Fox 5

Boyd 6
Pelupessy 6
Reach 6

Nuhiu 8
Matias 9

Jones 6
Palmer 6
Rhodes only came on for a few minutes

Jos 7 352 is the way.

Managed to get to the game in the end, and at last I got to see a win!!! We started dreadfully, hardly any possession in the first 20 mins and our first shot on 25 mins. But after we actually noticed that for all their possession they were creating very little we decided to take part in the game. Here are my ratings:

Dawson - 7, made a few very good saves and his distribution was pretty good as well.
Pudil - 6, some poor passes but ok overall.
Loovens - 5, good job Imre wasn’t actually watching the first half, he would have exploded!!
Venancio - 6, solid but needs to move forward with the ball more often.

Fox - 5, nothing going forward, ok in defence
Boyd - 5, did very little, not promising!! Would have been a 4 had he not chased hard when he scored!
Pelupessi - 5, looked like he was a bit lost at times, pace of the game seemed to affect him but some of the passes he got from others were total hospital balls!! Rightly booked, and it could have been a red if ref had judged him as being the last man.
Reach - 6, not sure where he really played but did get stuck in and was usually positive on the ball.
Hunt - 6, looked a bit match rusty as you would expect.

Nuhiu - 8, caused them problems all night, won a lot of headers and of course scored two goals. I thought he looked easily offside for the first, but there might have been a defender on the opposite side playing him on. He really is an enigma!!
Matias - 8, my MOM, ran all night, made some excellent runs that a better midfield would have seen, created chances for others and deserved a goal!! Definitely looking like the player we thought we had bought.

Palmer - 5, brought on to play on the left, did ok.
Jones - 6, looked solid when he came on and made the team a bit more solid. You could see Pelupessy urging him forward at times when both of them sat deep.
Rhodes - not on long enough to rate.

You really can’t argue with the fact Nuhiu caused a lot of problems, he made some good runs and scored when he got the chance but surely our other strikers are actually better players, aren’t they???

I'm quite liking Pudding as a 3rd CB  Thumb up Perhaps, as with a lot of the vortex players, given game time they can actually perform in their natural positions when not square pegged by a f'ucking idiot  Cool

I'd also give Nuhiu a 10 just to irritate PIEBLADE Wink

I agree, a back three of Pudil, Lees and Venancio with van Acken as back up looks quite promising. Loovens still does some good stuff, but is looking his age and gets caught out too often.

Stick Pele Pussy next to Van Acken in front of that back three, get Lee in central midfield, Reach and Hunt on the wings with Hooper and Fessi up front and we've cracked it Thumb up
