BBB, there was nothing to tell until all the games had been scored and your scores were checked.
On week 19 you'd played an insurance on both Exeter and Bornemouth games which both turned out to be wrong so it didn't make any difference to your total score, hence the ribbing and mickey taking about it recently, (I'll not do that again
)
So Beefy and I (the girls)
didn't notice until after all the games had been played when it's then too late to tell you or to do anything about it.
On a different issue but very much related to you BBB, I keep a record of posts with predictions as you all put them on, if you predict on a Monday, I take a copy on the Monday which can then be ticked off as the games end, hands up, I missed BBB's 2 insurance balls - that saves me from having to trawl through 21 sets of predictions over maybe 5 pages on the thread. Which is why I've asked on a number of occasions that if people change their original predictions could they add just a short note on a NEW post to let us know. The problem with scores only arises sometimes when Beef, Zin and myself compare and notice a difference with the scores we've got, which then means going back to originals to check through.
Just to throw your question above back to you BBB - in week 20 you posted your predictions on Thursday 18th, going Everton win, Stoke win with the Sheff Wed game as your insurance, which I made a note of to score from on Saturday. No NEW posts to say you'd changed anything so at the end of the games I scored you accordingly, 8 points for a correct Gamball and a save on your insurance.
You then posted on Saturday night "Well that gamble on Huddersfield and Albion winning 1-0 backfired - though it was almost correct for 70% of the games" - which didn't tally with what I'd got you down as - so back to your original predictions post which you changed on Saturday afternoon to an Abion win, a Huddersfield win and you'd taken your insurance ball off. When the 3 of us compared scores after all the games yours were all over the place, some with your original predictions, some with your changed and some without an insurance ball played.
Just a quick reminder to everyone that if you change anything on your original predictions, just a short NEW post to tell us clears up any confusion. The way we score covers most errors, but the delay in getting scores and tables up is usually down to a difference in the scores and points we exchange.
I say usually but also a lot of the time it's waiting for Beefy, especially if people have scored more points than he's got fingers
