We got a well deserved draw against Colin and his henchmen. After a slow start where Cardiff were the better team, we settled down and put in a decent performance and on another day would have took all 3 points with better finishing. We lined up 352 again with Jordan Thorniley making his debut at CB. Joao looked lively again and should have had a couple of goals. Rhodes also missed a couple. We have played 2 promotion chasing teams and kept 2 clean sheets while putting in a couple of decent performances. Just need the attacking players to start finding the back of the net.

Back to the cup and we entertain Reading in the 4th Rnd. Would be nice to have a cup and having a home tie gives us a good chance at getting to the 5th Rnd. I expect both teams to make numerous changes so lets hope our 2nd string are better than Readings

Dawson Matiass and neilson benifit the team so they should all start but do we put in Bob or give rhodes another crack at scoring Joao will be rested i think as he still cant play a full 90 minutes without looking knackered at the hour mark same as Hooper i wonder why cc

Nielsen has scored for the U23s today. O'Grady & Clare are both playing. No Jordan Thorniley but he is cup tied unfortunately and cant play Friday, same with midfielder Sean Clare.

That would make Loovens, Venancio, Pudil, O'Grady & Nielsen available as potential centre backs for Friday.
