I am watching Swansea v Liverpool.

A game that when you start, as I do, looking at where we and our fellow strugglers will or will not get pionts from, I would (and did) budget Zero points for bottom of table Swansea.

It might all change with 15 minutes to go but I had not expected them to be 1-0 up and looking reasonably secure at the back.

I know it’s paranoia but why do other teams get stunning results and we never seem to!

We've got those results in previous seasons but not this one.
Really can't see them coming, either. We're going to need a real good run soon.

Just been looking at table and the win column and the draw column are the worst in the league, I know it's all "ifs" but if 2 or 3 of those draws were wins we probably wouldn't be having this conversation now. Sadly those 22 games without a win could possibly leave us with too much to do, even now we're still turning winning positions into draws.
I know it's obvious but we'd be better off winning one and losing one than 2 draws.

Fair play to Swansea and ironically serves Liverpool right for their lack of respect with the missing black armbands Angry

But we are only 6 points off 11th
West ham are 11th they were below us new year,
Not all doom and gloom
Pity our next three matches include Manchester city and chelski away!!
I must say Liverpool's forwards run round like headless chickens tonight after watching them against man city who would have thought that
Bet they will make up for it Monday Angry
Swansea got that bit of luck right at the end
Our injury time effort from Rondon hit the woodwork
There in those two injury time incidents guys gives us a 4 point swing against
Margins eh ??

We could - and should - have picked up 4 more points against a poor Everton (and both under Pardew!) Somehow Everton are 9th, and with Rooney, Davies, Bolasie on the bench you'd think they'd be looking up rather than down, but they've got a good chance, along with all the bottom 1/2, of dropping down.
We really should be disappointed not getting these wins, instead of saying "It's a good result at their place". We've got to go looking for the 3pts, because 14 pts from our last 14 won't keep us up.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

Talksaft, I take your point about the Everton games but I still think their a decent team therefore two good points. I can think of several games this season where I was disappointed with the result .... winning positions where we have dropped points against lesser teams than the toffees, teams in the middle off poor runs play us, we gift them points or wins. Therein lies our problems ..... any points against the traditional top seven are bonuses it's the points dropped to the teams around us or, no disrespect intended, the newly promoted teams, who with the best will in the world are playing catch up.

There is only eight points between Everton in 9th and Swansea in 20th, squeaky bum time for a lot of clubs ..... hoping our upturn does enough to limp above the trapdoor come May.

It's true - the table is so tight in the bottom half and beyond.
I still believe that we just need one from Mozza/Chadli/incoming creative midfielder, plus a new face up front (somebody....ANYBODY!)  to make a huge difference.
Oh, and copious amounts of cotton wool to wrap around Phillips.

And I still believe we'll wriggle out of it.
