Berahino drink drive!
#11
If its true (which I doubt it 100% is) then I hope he gets a 2 year driving ban and a massive fine, would deserve jail time but it would detriment the club massively. At least then he won't be able to drive under the influence of laughing gas or alcohol or whatever else for a while.

As for Jan, I would take £25m if anyone is stupid enough to offer it and re-invest.

Drop him for the Arsenal match as he has been poor recently, probably due to this looming over him, and give Ideye a start.

I find it strange that this is the first im hearing of this, although maybe there was an injunction in place or something. May turn out to be complete bull. Just think back to the gas story, it was everywhere.

He's a footballer, he won't get 6 months. All he will get is a pampering and slap on the wrist

So let's sell Berahino because he might be found guilty of drink driving ?
Hmmm didn't Sess do exactly the same but he is ok to carry on playing ?
Seriously double standards !
Not that I condone drink driving in anyway, thank god he didn't injure himself or anybody else....

Not sure if you have read the allegations, but if he was driving 110mph whilst drunk then he is on a par with Lee Hughes - the only difference is that Hughes was unlucky enough to crash.

Financially, we can't risk keeping a player who we could get £25m for when there is a chance he is going to go off the rails and end up being worth nothing. If he gets banged up during his career I'd much rather it was AFTER he moves to a top 6 team and we've got £25m in the bank.

Drink driving or not, he was stopped in Manchester at 4 in the morning. That's only 6 hours before training... Doh

Unless he was excused then how come he was not disciplined?

Wba1996,
No didn't see anything about the speed. But what I am saying is Sess was found guilty of being twice the legal limit with no insurance or licence but is still playing for the club.
Berahino is on bail is he not so maybe he was given a blood test and bailed re the result ?
So he may not be guilty of drink driving ?
I will again repeat that drink driving is a selfish and very dangerous thing to do, as is driving at that speed if true !

Just tweeted: "Narrow-minded people, we live in a blind world!"

That sounds like an old-fashioned Odemwingie classic Sad

Thought the club got it spot on sacking Lee Hughes as soon as he was found guilty...Sheff Utd should have done the same with Ched Evans but maybe that's a whole different discussion.
The true facts will come out but this could definitely be the reason he didn't make his debut for England. Surely we must hold fire until we know the truth though ?
