THE MATCH

TUESDAY 16TH JANUARY 7:45PM KICK OFF

LAST MATCH

Well we all feared a beating but our new manager set us up in a 352/532 formation and the players performed for him as the match ended goalless which was a fair result. It was a game of few clear cut chances but both keepers made a top quality save each in the second half. After the debacle at Hillsborough this was a much improved performance and the players decided to put a shift in this time even though 2/3 of the team wouldn't have started if the first teamer's weren't all injured. United have the bragging rights but at least we got some pride back.

THE MATCH

Back to the cup and our replay with Carlisle. After the goalless draw at Brunton Park we should finish the job off at Hillsborough. Be nice to see several youngsters given a go, Clare Penney & Thorniley for example. If we put the same shift in as we did against United we should have too much for them and get ready to play Stevenage or Reading in the next round.

hahhd do the draws count after 90 minutes ?

obviously we should have the ball so what will jos do ? 3-4-3 would be nice or a simple 4-3-3 ?

Nice one, Kev.

I'd expect Jos will know how to win this game but can the players perform? Would also like to see some youngsters getting game time.

352 is something I've been dying to see for effing ages.

HHAHA

Remember Lopez? We could use him at the moment in midfield.

If its a draw after 120 min, it will go down as a correct result, same for if a team wins it in extra time. If someone wins on penalties that will not count, because I hate penalties and its my thread!!!!

So basically pray no games go to penalties, unless you have gone for a draw.

SS i think Abdi was supposed to be an improvement on Lopez what with his FL promotion and PL experience but what with our 'cough' medicals and CC's needing a year for new players to understand tactical periodisation we've all seen how that turns out.
Hopefully Yos can get him back to his old self ???
