It seems half a lifetime ago since Albion visited the south coast with confidence high, having made a good solid start to the season. The wheels came off that day at the Amex, and despite any number of pit-stops since, we haven't managed to get them back on again.
The sad fact is that we're running out of chances to do so. By any measure, Saturday's match against Brighton has to be considered a must-win fixture if we're to stay alive in the relegation battle. Not that it'll be easy in the slightest, but we can only hope that last week's FA Cup win - though nervier than it should have been - has injected a dose of confidence into our struggling side.
Of course, in happier times we were able to throw the kitchen sink at "the other Albion" and come out on top. Where's Andy Hunt when you need him?
