I was hoping for a striker in before Brighton
Its a must win six pointer .............
Can you imagine the after match debate if we dominate and again miss chance after chance  

I wouldn't expect us to get any striker before 31st. Which decent striker will come here, with the threat of relegation, if he can go to another Club (preferably in London, Cheshire, or South Coast)? His Agent will advise him to hang on a couple of weeks for another offer, then a salary auction.

That is exactly why the Jan window is a pointless waste of time. By the end of the month it will be too late for us, unless we win every game and that would beg the question as to whether we actually need anyone, if we don't win our games then the club will see no reason to try and bring anyone in for what would already be a lost cause.
The damage is already done.

Fact is that we will be playing Brighton and probably Everton with what we currently have available.

I was amazed when we managed to get Krychowiak in however he is struggling in this league and I truly believe we need to cancel his loan agreement and free up his £108k weekly wages to put it towards other signing(s).

Pardew has us playing the 'right way' but now needs the support of Williams and Lai to save us. I mentioned earlier in this thread that Cabaye, Ings and possibly Aaron Lennon could do a job for us. We will not get 'A' listers and I see Cabaye has been mentioned in the last day or two. I think we have missed a trick with Mirallas going on loan from Everton, that may put a blocker on Lennon.

Times a tickin on and the games are running out. I still believe Pardew will do the job but its twitchy arse time for me now.

The reason he's gone back is because he's injured until the end of the season so no chance there.

Hoping the Deeney rumours are just standard paper talk, I'm not sure hes the best we can get for 20m and 100k a week
