Bullens last game in charge before Jos takes over and we managed to avoid the upset and on another day we might have won. There goalie pulled of several saves and Nuhiu & Joao hit the woodwork. I thought Carlisle would have had more of a go considering the state we are in no and off the field but we managed to at least get them back to Hillsborough where we should have too much for them hopefully.



THE MATCH

To say Jos has a baptism of fire is probably the biggest understatement of all time. Away to the Blades is probably the last match he would have wanted. If he can get some sort of result even if it is a draw, he will probably go down as a miracle worker with what he has to work with the way our squad is at the moment. United have a few injures with Coutts out for the season and Brooks expected to miss the game also. We have the usual 9 or 10 players out and will have to more than likely go with the fringe players or maybe throw 1 or 2 young players into the battle

id go 5-3-2 OR 5-3-1-1 its the same weve no central midfield so play boyd and reach either side of hutch and attack with pace when we get the ball and that will get rid of the problem of having the ball and get caught out on the counter attack defend 5 acroos the back and let them have it

TBH I completely forgot about Boyd with him being injured all the bloody time. I would have him on the right instead of Wallace.

Tried to find some info on Jos and according to a few websites he does prefer using the 4231 formation. Be interesting to see if he actually uses that on Friday with the players available.
