PARDEW OUT NOW AND THE WHOLE TEAM CAN FOLLOW HIM OUT THE DOOR YOURE ALL A DISGRACE

Did you, or do you, ever watch the games, Val???
If you can't see the difference between the football during/after Pulis you must be f****ing blind. We'll no doubt go down in May, but at least we'll go down because we've got crap players in key positions, and not because we spoilt games by playing 10 men behind the ball.

I think it's fair to say that it WAS the fixture schedule that beat us yesterday. To rant about AP in this situation is nuts;  he's been without The New Biscuitman, Phillips (the latter, certainly, seems a bloody waste of space) and Mozza who,  through the fault of PREVIOUS recruitment, contain most of our attacking guile.
It's looking bleaker by the game, but we're not out of it yet. The players we have ARE performing better, and, IMO, just need a creative midfielder and a goal scorer to change things .....maybe a big ask, I know, but once this monkey's off our back I'm sure things will pick up.

Drewks, I agree things will pick up with a win but we're running out of runway ....... we need eight wins to reach the forty point mark, we have sixteen games left and I don't think forty points will be enough this year. I am starting to come to terms with swapping places with the dingles.

This will be a major disaster ........ not championship football, I can cope with that, I hate the premier league and all it stands for, always have, but it is a disaster because we had a real chance to invest, to build, to cement our place as a top half premier league team. As the only Midlands team in the prem we could have built our revenue, built the next generation fan base, scooped up all the neutrals, the sitting on the fence, no firm allegiance Midland football fans.

We will now have a real scrap to fight our way out of the second tier, we may even be behind both the dingles and the vile who may both go up. if we do manage to scrape enough points to stay up this year our squad will not be that much superior to our local rivals.

The last three or four years transfer Windows have really come home to roost ...... not replacing aging players, players not fit for purpose and the general make do and mend attitude has scuppered us,

Hoping for the best but ...........

It will be hard to attract decent players this window or next and it may be years back out in the cold .......

Happy New year ...... bah humbug.

Call me deluded but I still believe that we will be ok come the end of the season. We are improving every match that goes by and the Pulis methodology is being beaten out of the players slowly but surely. A couple of good additions in January (Replacement for Evans, Yannis Salibur and a good striker) and I think we will stay up and have a base to improve upon next season.

16 matches left, 48 points left to play for and some very winnable games still to come. It is definitely doable.  Thumb up

Right, where did I leave my medication? Oh nurse, I'm ready for my sponge bath.  Whistle

Good on Jake for confronting the guy if he made those comments. Some football fans think they can say whatever they like to professional football players without repercussions. Just because they play football for a living doesn't mean they are robots who don't have feelings and don't feel feel heartache.

xxxx that West Ham fan.

Josh, I know it's doable, it will be very difficult, I hope we can but you need enough runway to take off and we're running out.

thanks for the insult talk saft I'll remember that personal attack for as long as I live How about i insult you for your opinions. Im not blind mate I can see clearly were not winning games still despite the change in manager and style losing is losing and were now getting cut adrift. I can see were going down and I don't need a crystal ball to see that.

**** that West Ham fan.

100% on all the above Josh, and without having a go at anybody, I hope the players show a bit more hope and fight than some on here or we may as well just give our place up now. I'm not guaranteeing we're going to stay up, but I am hopeful

The 48 hour gap did for us last night, we clearly tired 2nd half, and again I'm not saying it's too much for our overpaid players, just that West Ham obviously had higher energy levels, but the difference in performances is massive, more possession and more chances, like a lot of teams we're a good "chance converter" away from getting a result. I don't know who the answer might be but it's one for the people who are paid to do it to find.

The Jake Livermore story is sickening if true that so called fan should be named and banned for life if he said what's being reported, and related to that ,what is pi55ing me off on here of late is the continual stick that's being dished out to the same players week in week out, Livermore, McLean, Rondon. In my opinion they've been no worse or better than anybody else this season, yet before during and after every game the blame gets saddled on one of these three regardless of how they've played. It wasn't so long ago that Dawson and Brunt were becoming the scapegoats. The team as a whole have been terrible, Foster is the only one who can hold his head up this for the last 12 months so why do people have to go on and on about the same players week in week out. Really gets on my nerves and unless they "dis" the shirt like some have done FFS get behind them.

A bit precious, Val.

I think what creates tension among the fans is not Pulis' sacking but his replacement with Pardew, so I think we need to separate the two, if that makes sense. I honestly believe sacking TP was the right decision; I don't buy the "he's never been relegated" argument as a reason for keeping him. We are fighting relegation because of him and, at some point, this "achievement " will come to an end. Having said that, it's a smart manager who creates a crisis so he can then solve it!

However, any initial results improvement under AP hasn't happened, there has been no "dead cat bounce". Most fans agree the football is better but the games slip by and the results don't come. I have to say that I was distinctly underwhelmed by Pardew's appointment but, like most people, was very prepared to give him a chance. I'm not sure where we go from here; I reckon we have him for the rest of the season whatever it brings as the Board would look completely stupid if we sacked him.

I really am pessimistic about our chances but, as said before, I've always enjoyed the Championship so don't see relegation as the end of the world. However if the Dingles and Seals Re promoted, then I think Armageddon will have arrived

Although out of the last 20 games, we have actually only lost 10 and that includes last night = 50%. So how many teams can say that?So there's hope for us, especially if we get in some good signings.
