yes we may go down its not the end of the world if we do
yes we may stay up another premier league season
stay up...fine

we are all supporting our beloved baggies
so enough of the negativity
we will stay up

thats providing we can actually locate the net

Some of the best times we have experienced was in the Championhip when we scored goals for fun.
When we were last relegated we kept the nucleus of the team - would we again is the question.

Weirdly I think if we went down we would sell the majority and rebuild.

We have an aging squad and one that suddenly does not seem able to perform as a team.

I still think (hope) we will survive and Alan Pardew will get it working. But if we drop out of the Premier League I am not going to cry....... well, I’ll try not to

I've almost resigned myself to relegation and, strangely, quite looking forward to a new challenge for the club.

If we don't go down then, I suppose, it'll be a bit of a bonus. Although I'm not sure how many more seasons we can endure just floating around the middle of the prem achieving sweet FA.

Relegation......
and FA Cup Winners on our Golden Anniversary!

(Wonder if that Barman's still working, in Trafalgar Square, and if he remembers me when I go celebrating.
He'll be going "Don't serve this twat - I seem to remember chucking him out about 50 years ago. I told him he was barred for life.")

Maybe it's me but one of the most enjoyable season's I can remember in my 55 years following the Baggies was the Championship winning one under Tony Mowbray. With very few exceptions, every game was a joy and that was down to TM playing attacking football with a talented and committed group of players. You'd leave the game with a smile on your face, having been royally entertained. However, mention this on other forums or facebook and you're regarded as some complete idiot since this happened in the Championship and not in the Premier League.

I guess I'm trying to say I agree with the sentiments about relegation; I don't mind as long as it's seen as an opportunity to get rid of dead wood, bring in the talented youngsters we have and put smiles back on the fans' faces. I know it's not easy and that the Championship is much tougher now that when TM was manager but I'd rather see us put four past Brentford (apologies Brentford, just picked a name) than having the "privilege" of seeing us being humiliated by Aguerro, Kane or Sanchez. This doesn't mean you wouldn't want to get promoted but that is around the excitement and the euphoria of achieving something; once you arrive in the Premier League, I don't think the euphoria lasts long. I've now come to hate it.

What will be, will be but I don't think we should fear relegation- "feel the fear and do it anyway"

We don't cease to exist if we get relegated. Look at Wolves now, absolutely lovin it.
People use the 'money' aspect of the prem and pretend we're rich, but we are no richer than every other prem club as they get the same money. Could we go out and spend £75m on a defender despite being one of the 'richest' clubs in the world by being in the prem? No, because we are, in fact, rich paupers.

Agree with you, Steve. The joy of Mowbray's side outplaying the opposition gave us a great buzz. (Shame on Mowbray, though, for the way he left without a backward glance at his loyal vociferous fans).
The future is going to be exactly the same, because we'll never again hope to compete, and if the only way little Albion can stay up is the 'Pulis way' I'd rather watch Parks football. With Parks football, though, I wouldn't be able to enjoy being a Baggie and correspond with our great supporters, and miss out on great banter with other Clubs' fans. Just living in hope is what we've done for 30+ years, which is ok, but anything other than the Pulis Way is good enough.
