Pulis kept us (Albion) in the Prem, but Christ, I'd rather be in the Championship than suffer his brand of anti-football every year, where finishing 17th every year was a success. Last March we were 8th, and he took a fooking great cigar out of his pocket and smoked it for the remainder of this year.
We've got a great promising Academy and he's never given them the chance to progress. Instead (whilst 8th in April) he filled the team with defensive midfielders getting his "Group" to rely on corners to sneak a goal from his towering Centre-halves.
We finished last season in 10th, which sounds great, but Season Tickets dropped to the lowest for 10 years this season because there's no thrill watching 30% possession against teams like (with respect) Bournemouth.
What's Football today all about anyway? Man City fans are there playing brilliant football in front of 50-odd thousand, and their (new) fans sit there with a grin and a happy-clap when they see their Superstars hammer Chelsea (say) on a Monday night. They can't remember the ecstasy of winning the Championship 20 years ago. Most of their "fans" are yawning at the 5th goal, which they've missed because they were too busy selfying to their "buddies" on a ski-slope somewhere.
Give me Championship v Wolves (or, in your case) Blades anyday.
Good luck 2018!
