Prediction League Tables Week 15
#1

Well !!
I have just seen the Championship scores and it's safe to say they are having the better of the Premiership in recent weeks,
5 people in the positive scores and 6 in the negative should see a lot of swapping and changing in the overall standings in the top division, so it should be interesting to see Bombers final standings,
It seemed Amelia would be towards the bottom as the Manchester Derby kicked off,
But in just 90 mins of football and with no other correct Gamball predictions, boom ...........
16 points later she hurtles to the top,
Joker for his part with the help of a correct result on the Gamball came in with 13 Points, and seems to be finding some form (at last)
Zinman despite being without sleep, boozing and bedding numerous loose women remained in the positive scores although again a pretty mediocre 8 points was his score (sums up his season so far), then he was followed by BBB with 3 points and St Charles with 2,
St Charles after a fine start seems to be hitting a slump familiar to that of our beloved Albion, but not quite as bad ...............
Now for six of the worst ........
Matt came in with -1 well Matt is Just Matt and this seems to be the norm surely a good score is just around the corner ?
Then for the first time in many weeks our leader DD came in with a negative at -2, Has the gap been closed ?
WorldClass also struggled to -2 and then the scores drop off dramatically,
Twertons struggles continues and comes in at 9th place on -5
That leaves Derby who brought up the rear, he  had just 1 correct result but everything that could go wrong with his balls did   Rolleyes and Sanjay had a real stinker in 10th with not 1 correct result and ended up on -10 as well, good job he didn't play the Gamball  Tongue
A total of -10 is surely a season's worst ?
If it is, although I shouldn't comment on my Division but as it's Stevo I will    Laugh  Along with Bournemouth Baggie that is really a awful week guys,
Unlucky Derby, Sanjay - Stevo your worst nightmares are coming home to roost   Rolleyes
I'll stop now   Whistle
Until next week
Beefy   Thumb up

DD’s lead at the summit increased from 33 last week to 41 points this week despite a negative week for him, just goes to show if you’re going to have a bad week, make sure it’s when those below you have a “badder” week  Confused .
Sanjay retained 2nd, but couldn’t have had a worse week, the stuff nightmares are made off, allowing St Charles to close the gap in 3rd. The main beneficiary of the top 3’s poor week was Zinman who moved into a season’s high position of 4th leapfrogging BBB who dropped a place into 5th, though from 3rd down to 5th there’s only 4 points in it.
Derby suffered the same nightmare week as Sanjay and dropped a whopping 3 places down into 6th, as low as he’s been all season.
Amelia ended her slump in some style as she moved up a place into 7th while scoring a seasons best for the week in the process.
Worldclass slips to a place to 8th to make way, and is by no means safe from a relegation place if any of those below him find some form. Which leads me nicely to Joker who has now moved into the heady heights of 8th and more importantly out of the relegation places for the first time.
He’s replaced by Twerton who has slipped from 5th to 10th in the last 6 weeks and has 4 points less than at that time.
Poor old Matt brings up the rear, somebody has to be bottom mate, and his run with the Gamball continues 1 correct result from 11. The only way is up – literally  Big Grin .

A weekend of highs and lows, ups and downs, of being surrounded by beauty but knowing that ugliness lies lurking in the shadows. A weekend when things that seemed so clear, became blurred and when you could never really tell whether your glass was half full or half empty.

But enough about me, back to the football. In a time of great uncertainty, some things remain constant: Albion losing; 4eva and Snooty moving ever further from the pack; Bournemouth going backwards and Beefy stuck in mid-table. This week's clear winner was 4eva, 27 points on the back of a 70% correct result record and 2 correct scores including the gamball. With good use of his insurance ball, 4eva's only blemish was missing out on the bonus. 2nd place goes to Quantum, with Salop in 3rd, both getting the gamball score right. By my reckoning all of the top 3 achieved personal best scores for the season so far. Snooty did well to come in 4th with a creditable score of 15 despite losing 4 points on the gamball and matching 4eva's 7 correct results. Stairs and Bomber were both helped by a correct gamball result, Bomber being saved from a negative weekend.
Beefy's one good week now seems just a distant memory but at least he stayed in positive territory, helped by again choosing to play safe - seems he's given up on that dream of promotion.
And then the rest. If you're going to have a bad week, you may as well do it properly and Vic, Baggieone and Bournemouth all did that. Vic managed just 1 correct score and would have been worse off if he'd played his gamball. Bournemouth had a real 'mare, saved from a complete whitewash by Leicester's late winner (as was Vic).

Other stats - all of the championship players seem to have more confidence in Albion's ability than seems appropriate - no points were gained from this match though it did receive a number of insurance balls. This week also brought the biggest points difference between top and bottom.

And that glass got emptied far too frequently.

The top 2 extended their lead at the top this week, with Snooty leading the way, but now with a reduced deficit, he did of course though get his 15th consecutive Insurance save, which I will keep mentioning till he fails Whistle , then I’ll have to mention it again, because he did. 4eva, after a couple of dodgy weeks was back to post a seasons best weekly score and close the gap to just 6 points as we get towards the halfway point in the season.
Bomber moved up into the top 3 for the first time this season and also cracked the ton in points, I did ask him to say a few words about his meteoric rise up the table, but humble as ever he said he’d let his predicting do the talking and added that he’d take each week as it comes and see where he is at the end of the season – what a bloody nice bloke he is Thumb up Thumb up Thumb up .
Baggieone slipped a place into 4th, his first time out of the top 3 all season Thumb down , after equalling his worst score for the week, he now edges within reach of a new pursuer in the shape of Quantum who soared 2 places into 5th with his own best week of the season.
Beefy moved aside and down to 6th to let him through after promising his mid table placing of last week was a sign of things to come Laugh Laugh .
Salop was also a big mover again posting a season high to climb 2 places up to 7th and not that far away that he could move up again with another good week.
Someone had to have a drastic slide to make way for the climbers and it fell to BaggieVicar dropping 3 places to 8th and even more alarmingly Bournemouth into 9th after occupying 4th for much of the season.
Stairs although bottom will take heart from a good week and is not that far away, especially with those above him on the slide.

Since his rapid decline down the table I notice that a certain person has be unavailable for comment,
I won't name him as the chances are he's a little embarrassed by the situation at the moment

Another libellous comment from Beefy.
The climb up the table continues - I suspect I'd be top already if it wasn't for the damn gamball.

That's a surprising statistic ...... DD and I are joint top on points scored with the Gamball ..... 54, I didn't realise I had done quite as well as that with it.
