FA Cup 2018

Just checked:
Exeter Chiefs (runaway leaders of RU Championship) are away at Newcastle on the same weekend.
The fact that they're Away will influence the attendance, 'cos if Chiefs were at Home on same day, there might not be too many queueing for Football tickets. (Not that our new attacking style won't have the locals drooling!)

Reuben Reid will look to make an impression against Albion who didn't give him much of a chance. He's got a good goalscoring record in the South-West, 1st with Argyle, then with City.

Didn't Reid score against us for Yeovil or someone a while back? Pretty inevitable he'll get one.

Yeah, he put them 1-0 up when we played them in the League Cup in 2012. We won 4-2.

Reid netted twice against Cheltenham at Whaddon Road in a game they went on to win 4-3.

Needs watching closely and he would undoubtedly have a point to prove.

For the benefit of anyone who missed it, Exeter City beat Forest Green Rovers 2-1 after extra time in their replay.

The third round tie is therefore Exeter vs Albion.

This could be a very important competition for us. It might get the players Mojo back and help the league performances.

I am clinging to straws as I can almost touch the ghost of relegation!

I can remember losing 3-1 at Home to Exeter in the League Cup - I think it was the Year we got relegated, 1972-73.

I have been visited by the ghost of Christmas past ....... Albion bottom at christmas.

With palace's late late two goal turn around last night, it has dropped us onto the trap door with tough fixtures to come

Hoping the ghost of Christmas present can show us the error of our ways and give us more than two points before then.

I see dark shadows in Christmas yet to come if things remain unchanged.
