Well last time we were this bad (Swansea), we went home and stuffed one of the Manchester giants.
Well let's do it again.

Strewth, mate, is he still going? Saw him at Edinburgh Festival about 40 years ago. He swears a bit.

Still a bit stunned after all that yesterday, we started really well, looked threatening knocked it around well, Bmouth did look lively when on the attack with pace and movement causing us probs.
Will have to see all the key decisions on replay , H who i cant pronounce injured in what looked a strong block tackle, was missing when the corner was floated in and either Zanka or Williams failed to stop Wilsons header.
2nd holding a high line there was at least 2 off side their left back went and came back how can that not be interfering.
Their sending off happened all to quick late tackle so likely 2nd yellow.
I feared at 2-0 HT we didnt have 2 goals in us and thats how it played out, Kach who has done very little all season should have come off, put Williams at centre half and left a tiring mooy in the middle to try dictate play.
Instead Malone's individual error trying to play out and beat half a team in his own box killed the game and no suprise when no 4 was bagged in.
We didnt have the quality to really get behind and amongst them to even threaten to score, Aki cleared up the crosses and the team will have to look at this re-run and rethink their away set up. Do we go back to the shit boring 0-0 at Burnley way or play open and get caught v pace and power that many of our opponents posess.
On the bright side, once again 1350 sell out followers loud n proud right to the 93 rd minute and a the team showed their appreciation at the whistle.
Long day on the rattler from Birmingham, tough couple of hours in the ground, but an interesting 90 mins or so as 200 Wolves jumped on the Manchester direct train at Reading that had a large number of Townies on, but those in our compartment very complimentary about us getting to the promised land, a place they feel they are on track to be next season.

So if we do manage to avoid the drop, it will be through sheer grit and determination alone, and not premier league class, because we simply don't have it. Not a single player in blue and white was anywhere near PL standard yesterday. Our defence without Schindler was shown up for what it is. I know that change was enforced, but it shows to me we don't have squad depth to rotate any of our defenders. Yes, there was a definite foul before the first. But that doesn't excuse the appalling defending of the resulting corner. And yes, the second was definitely offside. Ponderous at best going forward. No cutting edge. Did their keeper actually make a save, even when they were playing with 10. I really fear the next couple of games, and that will be reflected in next weeks prediction league, which will have a hint of nostalgia about it for me. At least we won't be playing in brown and yellow checker board shirts I suppose!
I'M NO PESSIMIST.....JUST AN OPTIMIST WITH EXPERIENCE !!

MOTD highlights summed up perfectly our current predicament, 2nd half showed our 1 one shot blocked and their 2 goals - their keeper was barely troubled all game, once they slowed it down, Begovic time wasting it was allover after 65 mins, we knew it we felt it but thankfully the noise didnt drop so it didnt transmit negatively onto the pitch.
We are going to have pull teams into a boring scrap & slugfest style away from home, slik passing pacey teams will massively damage our goal difference away games otherwise, if we are to get anywhere near giving ourselves a chance of survival come the transfer window.
No away goals since Palarse - nuff said - some hard training sessions ahead me thinks.
