Not yet but Ace Ventura the Italian manager more than likely will not be in a job in an hours time

The Netherlands and now Italy not competing in next year's World Cup finals - definitely a poorer tournament for that loss! I wonder if Zlatan will 'come out of retirement' next year to join up with the Swedish international footie squad for another 'tilt' at winning the World Cup? A case of the 'legend' returns to the fold to boost their chances a wee bit!

Also the first time in a while that the USA won't be there either, and Chile missed out this time.

Aye! There is definitely a deterioration in world footie for whatever reason. My favourites for this one are France, who must 'fancy their chances' with the player squad that Deschamps has at his disposal, and Brazil, who may well have 'something to prove' after the previous embarrassment 'in their own backyard'.

One thing is certain England won't win it

A quarter-final place would be a success for Engerland and I think they could possibly attain that place with a 'bit of luck'; it just depends on the draw. IMO a good compact all round attacking team will beat England.

All I can say to that is no shit, Sherlock Big Grin

Don't you just love how the media don't get tired of hyping it up? It's like Groundhog Day.

Aye! The 'blessed' Martin O'Neil fails to pull off another miracle in Dublin with his current ROI side and thrashed 1-5 by Denmark with Eriksen 'destroying them' with a great 'hat trick' on the night
