Happy with the first half display keeping an ordinery looking Lpool at bay with just Saleh giving Lowe a torrid time out left.

A pen given no-one in real time saw or claimed, a fine save by Lossl having discussed which way to go with Lowe - full marks.

Support once again immense, near the segration blanket and just full of touristy non singing folks to our left.

Shame Smith had to set them up for a lead with his header of sorts falling nicely for Sturridge, looked a soft 2nd beating Mooy to it at the front post corner and the 3rd a screamer which makes it look a pasting from afar.

Sadly we didnt deserve annything over the 90 mins in truth, Beast up front won everything but neither Kachunga nor Ince at anywhere near the level required, neither we near enough to support him or benefit from these flick on and Ince so eager to get on the score sheet hoofed high and wide our only shot from a late freekick.

Thankfully you would have thought we;d grabbed a point at FT as the players and management came over. Massive pressure to get something and keep the points ticking over next week now, 1 up front against the giants WBA employ will be useless. Hard week on the grass looking at tweaking things needed.

Wagner just has to set us up to be braver or at least having limped to HT at 0-0 we should look to kick on if we are going to nick points on the road. There was never a better time to play Lpool without Mane & Couthino today, Louvren injured pre warm up but similar to Swansea we were poor at ball retention and in some way self belief.

Almost 40 years waiting to go there and I was disappointed, it didnt feel like the Anfield of old.

Liverpool's Norwegian fans were very quiet today. Maybe they should implement a system where proper fans get tickets. Then again, how would the thieving touts make a living?

Fook me, they won 3-0 and not one decent attempt at The Fans from Anfield Road. Pathetic. We weren't great today but the fans sung to the end.

Disappointed but expected would be my 3 word review.

Waited all my life to watch Town at Liverpool and the whole thing was a bit of a let down.
The match- started off ok and got progressively worse as the game went on, from about 20mins on it seemed like one way traffic. Having watched MOTD last night I can see why the ref gave the penalty but at the time nobody in the ground knew what the ref was doing..home fans, away fans,players..nobody.
Second half...more of the same of the first half. We really do have to stop gifting goals to the opposition.

Atmosphere....PANTS! I didn't think our support was quite on its game yesterday but chuff me we were like a million times better than the home support.

Only bonus yesterday was back to WF4 by 18:50 despite staying to the end and a 25min walk back to the car

Back by 18:50? We struggle to get home from the JSS for that time. Were you in an helicopter?

And as for the penalty. Shirt tug, yes, but the ball was never anywhere near him. There's shirt pulling at every corner and none are given. You have to have some kind of influence on the play if you're giving it as a penalty.
And by contrast, Firminho was tugging Mooy's shirt when he scored from the corner. Didn't spot that one, did you ref? Angry

We were watching Five Guys Named Moe which was absolutely brilliant. Best fun I've had in a theatre for ages.

Sounds like I had a lucky escape

1/4 of the season gone, Town in 13th place on gd with 12 pts. 12 pts in each 1/4 of the season and we are golden. To get silver or bronze, we need to score goals, especially away from home. We didn't look like scoring in Liverpool's red light district let alone their red shirted one yesterday.

Lack of goals and lack of creativity is starting to worry me, at Wham and Swansea the performances were pretty much the same and the end result, 0 goals few shots has to be addressed.

There's only really Palmer to come back that could influence matters massively, Big Col might give us 20 mins of direct strong running but this is the squad until the January window opens so we just have to find a way to get forward and support.

Both full backs have had a tough first 10 games as the quality and pace has improved and defensively ( starting with midfield) against slick 1, 2 touch passing teams anyone outside the top 10 would struggle that's obvious.

Its clear we're not getting the expected output and return from Ince , Kachunga , I would say the penny has finally dropped with VLP and he's starting to show over the past 3-4 games, I was gutted when he was subbed y'day my £5 bet on his 1st goal and a 1-0 town at 375/1 went all Scandinavian.

Highlights didnt look good today and although DATM has us down for supporters of the century already, that noise alone wont keep us up.

Sky Sports News's caption writer was a bit off form on Saturday. Said our team changes included Zanka in for Jorgensen. Laugh
Then afterwards said that Wijnaldum had scored his first away goal for Liverpool. All his others had been scored at Anfield. Huh

Can't stop singing this to me sen after Saturday. sort of sums up our attacking threat.
