There were distinct shades of the last days of Steve Clarke about that performance (and all of the draws leading up to it). Defend, defend, defend, defend, concede, lose: there's a sad inevitability about it. The only virtue to negative, defensive football is the ability to grind out wins, and if we can't even do that, then the writing's on the wall.
Pulis being Pulis, he may well pull off a shock win against a big side in the coming weeks to keep himself in the job, but right now his position's looking closer to untenable than at any other point since he's been here. Shockingly bad on every front.

I predict Pulis is on notice to be sacked and the sooner the better. I said at the time he was given the HC job he should never have been appointed with his vile anti-footballing philosophies that were displayed and hated at Stoke. He divided that club as he has ours and STILL people look on him as a god which is unbelievable!
People say ‘give him to the end of the season’. Are they raving bonkers? We will be in the Championship by then you fools! People say ‘but replace him with who’. I say anyone is better than Pulis ‘they worked ‘ard’ the dinosaur.
People say it’s the players fault. I remind this people that the mindset of the players would have become negative being exposed to ‘work ‘ard’ every day. The flair, talent and excitement has been drilled out of them - a form of brain-washing.
If something isn’t done and done soon, we will be relegated. Even with his squad additions we are in an even more precarious position than we were with RdM, Clarke, Irvine or even Pepe Mel. Terrible times, terrible record - time to go Pulis.

Pulis claims he has plans for the evolution of our beloved club. All I see is no football, strikers played as wingers, wingers down the middle, 3CDMs across the middle, RBS played in the centre or LB and vice versa.
Flair players left out of sold because Defend defend defend defend defend is the Pulis way.
This is UNACCEPTABLE PULIS and it’s not evolution you knob it’s DEVOLUTION!!!! So why don’t you get out of this club and go spoil someone else’s ethics and way of playing because what you do IS NOT FOOTBALL.

What is evolution is that I am hanging out of a bedroom window in the Lake District to get some kind of signal on my phone..... please god Pulis just go. Look at Huddersfield yesterday, attack attack attack. We are in for our usual Christmas relegation battle at this rate. Try and defend against city and I see a rugby score coming on. Pulis fooking out

I had hoped to wake up to some good news, but it seems he's still with us. Yesterday was probably the worst I've seen (though Villa at home ran it close) but some people are still defending him - one poster on another site was full of praise for our defending but felt that we were let down by the midfield and attack. He seemed to miss the fact that we didn't have a midfield and attack because, with the exception of Rondon, they ere all parked 25 yards from our goal line.
I don't buy the line that Pulis will keep us up - on current form he won't and I hope our owners can see it.

Monday. I want to wake up on Monday (or find out during the day) that TO has been sacked.
It is typical for the ramifications of the weekend to be digested and discussed. I’d like to think that there is an emergency meeting happening today and by mid Monday decisions will have been made.
If TP does not go now he will never go!

Don't get to excited about the "sack story", the person writing the original story knows nothing. She is full of it and has no contacts at the club. A few days ago she was writing Matty Phillips was going to Inter Milan after a bust up with Pullis. Err,,,, it was Shaun Wright-Phillips who Inter Milan were interested in.

I did say all the omens were there for this one my only surprise was it wasn’t ex baggie long that scored the goal and rubbed our faces in it. My prediction for next week is our goal average is gonna to take an almighty thumping. We NEVER get anything from man c anymore next week will be even worse far as I can tell we’ve played one decent half of football against arsenal everything else including the two wins has been tedious tiresome negative dross I was pro TP but my hands are up I surrender and believe he must go now just a shame we’ve missed out on uncle woy I’d rather have him back than suffer any more of this tripe Val is hurting badly
