I posted this on the match thread! How many managers is it now who have lost their job immediately after playing the Baggies?

They are only two points adrift of 17th place Stoke and a further two more adrift of WBA in 10th so from the outside looking in it does seem harsh. However, the Leicester owner seems to actually have proper ambition for the club and mediocrity isn't accepted.

I wonder if our owner will have similar ambition if we ever fall into a similar situation.

Shakey got the sack for the same reason De Boer did - In the bottom 3 and owners getting twitchy about making losses on what they've invested in their respective clubs.

Expecting Howe to go the same way if Bournemouth don't get any decent results off Stoke or Newcastle coming up soon.

Same for our owners, I would imagine they would be very swift to replace Pulis if we were to enter the bottom 3 this season.

I'd swop Pulis for Howe. We can pay Pulis off, so he can pay Palace what he owes them.

I wouldn't rule out Koeman having the sack on current form with the money that's been spent as well. Could be quite the manager merry-go-round over the next few months!

I think Eddie Howe is probably safe for a while although who knows in this game, still has a lot of goodwill for the success he has brought to the club
