agree with all of the above post match comments
Kach, VLP just not at the required level, Lowe had a shocker, Malone should be starting at Swansea, even Lossl for the first time showed some shakey moments.
Schindy just didnt want to be beat another immense display and the Beast up front won his header but no-one there to take advantage.
Ince I barely realised he was playing, he needs a goal - any type off his arse or a shinner but a goal. Mooy his delivery from free kicks and corners terrible - i thought Billing had a good 20 mins but after the early mistakes the game was over and Spurs were only at 60% 2nd 45.
Hogg - love what he does but today it showed what he does do isnt enough (at the high end level) he needs to add that killer pass, forward movement and urgency to his game, rather than safety first give n go. Williams, Palmer and Mounie all real misses today though I cant see Williams and Hogg playing together.
I didnt clap Kane off myself but many around me and most towards the centre blocks did, some werent happy it happened, a show of real respect I admit, his 2nd goal was incredible, SPurs fans then to our right applauded the lower tier in return.
I never expected to win today but I didnt expect some many errors such a poor display from so many, first 8-9 mins we started well then the air slowly seeped out.
Trained it in & back to Leeds and seems a lot of the travellers were night out there and making a weekend of it, heard the same from a lad who had come across from Manchester.
Recharge the batteries next weekend then Swansea here we come, hope the players turn up there cos we need a positive result there.

Think today, Tottenhams players were a few passes ahead, they already knew where they were passing before it arrived, we have to take a touch and think before moving it. We saw some great footballers today

Totally agree with jjamez - the build-up play to Davies' goal was sublime, although Spurs had a huge stroke of luck when the ricochet off a Town defender rolled into Davies' path. Their fourth goal was equally lucky and Kane's first was the result of two Town mistakes. All in all, a decent performance from Town who should have had a penalty when Kachunga was brought down with the score at 0-2.
I'm not worried about the points tally from games against the top half teams, it's the bottom half teams we should be targeting. I've not seen anything to disturb my sleep from most of them and I'm sure David Wagner feels the same.

How Embarrassing ............... DELI BLOODY ALIE !!! Yes VLP did similar the other week, and I, along with most others, denounced his actions. But taken in context, this was far worse. At least VLP was touched, minimally I agree, but touched all the same. Alie wasn't! And when you take into consideration the ease with which Spurs were beating us, to try to con a pen is nothing short of humiliating embarrassment. If there is no retrospective action here, it will prove once and for all the governance of the sport is nothing short of laughable !!!

He was booked, ref saw it, dealt with it. Nothing more will be done about it.

One question, could we utilize billings long throw more, especially now we have lolo et al? It might mean trying him as an attacking midfielder but personally I dont see why he couldn't do the job, he has the brain to find a gap like he does when he plays deeper. Or we could scrap the attacking central player and put hoggy or williams in front of the defence with mooy and billing in front of them.
Just a thought

My opinion.......for what it's worth. We have to adopt a more conservative approach when we play the top six. We play similarly to how Liverpool play at times, with the high press etc. But even their defence gets picked off regularly, and they have better players overall to boot. Worth sticking to our "identity" against the lesser teams, but it ain't gonna do us any favours against the best. As yesterday proved beyond all doubt! I'm sure Mr Wagner has a cunning plan up his sleeve!!!

They can be awfully dull to watch but it isn't doing Burnalee any harm away from home this season the way they set up. Looking good for another 3 points on their travels today, as just commented on 5-Live, that will equal their total away points for the whole of last season. However we set up, we'll still need the whole side to be at it. Half the side wasn't yesterday and the result wouldn't have been much different if we'd sat back and invited them on to us and the players still weren't at it.

Chris Lowe was getting stick for te first two goals. Can't see why. The first one was Lossl's fault. Everybody was up still from the previous attack. Lossl then played a stray pass which got headed on towards Kane. Lowe missed the interception and Kane was in.
The second was just unlucky. Spurs passing was awesome to set up the chance. Lowe put in a last ditch tackle, which jammily fell straight to Davies. Where was the cover? Smith had had to come across to cover but nobody had tracked back for Davies.
The third goal was just sheer brilliance and the fourth irrelevant.

On first sight, and listening to Oggy and Herr Schnitt, aka
Matt Glennon, the first was down to an airy fairy challenge by Löwe and I too thought him partially to blame for the second, not helped by a lack of cover. Watching the MOTD highlights this morning then yes he is not totally to blame given the poor clearance by Lössl and I was also guilty of not really appreciating how good the Spurs buildup to the second goal was. They had us chasing shadows for that one. Would still like to see Van the Man parked for the next game and give Bugsy Malone a start at Swansea.
