The Staggies are not getting good results at the moment in a poor season for them so far and I'm hoping that continues and Hibs don't become sudden victims of a Scot footie club that sold off their striker, Boyce, who kept them 'ticking over', and may well regret that move although they probably couldn't hold on to the Irishman anyway. Take care of Schalke and we'll hopefully eradicate any possibility of them scoring goals against us.

Looks like a 4-4-2 the day with dylan brought into the midfield with murray and stokes continuing up front.
hanlon scores from a corner 1-0 hibs.

A good 3 points finally,we were definitely the better side again. This time we were a bit wasteful in front of goal and found the staggies keeper in inspired form but managed to keep it a clean sheet finally with the aid of a couple of good saves from young laidlaw. stokesy in particular played well but must be wondering how he didnae score the day with some of the saves and the woodwork denying him.
If we can keep things tight at the back we are always going to get a goal or two along the way. Middle to front we are a decent enough outfit, just need to be a bit more 'streetwise' and stay switched on for the 90 mins.
Up to 4th now, but a trip to celtic park next week. It doesn't get any tougher!

I notice that County's manager, Jim Macintyre, followed Houston 'oot the door' this morn! Boyce's transfer in the summer a huge factor in deciding his fate TBH and how often we've witnessed fateful scenarios like this one.
