Hibs Statement

Words cannot express how angry and disappointed i am with our board on this one. Admitting the game was not fair and open in the past and then just brushing over it all with a 'move on'.

Some of us will be making our feelings know at the AGM.

I'll be one of those shareholders who will be doing exactly that!!!! Anybody 'in the know' can see that this statement reeks of 'the tache' - it's definitely Rod's style of script without a shadow of a doubt and this is not representative of the grass roots Hibs supporters' views on the subject. I think we know very well the meaning of the words 'sporting integrity', righteousness and 'accountability'. Some footie officials clearly don't!!! I listened to Stuart Regan's statement/comments tonight on bbc Sportsound and some of his defensive remarks were cringeworthy although I must acknowledge that this guy and his family were subjected to all kindsa threats for about a year from the usual poisonous elements of this toxic Scottush footie club that is now renamed Rangers FC - different name but the same horrible; criminal behaviour!!!

Here we have a situation where the same people who have been proven to have lied and cheated at the SFA,have allowed people who have been proven to have lied and cheated at rangers carry on like nothing has happened. They have all got each others backs and the 'fix' is in.

The game is up the pole in scotland. I just don't see how it can possibly ever fully recover with this being allowed to fester in the background because no way will celtic let it go, and i really don't blame them.

Well one thing is clear and that is the fact there should be an independent investigation and that should include scrutinising the role and value judgement of Judge Nimmo Smith!

Can I ask what outcome would you want to see happen?? More punishment for Rangers? Governing bodies to be sanctioned? Titles stripped etc?

What do you mean 'more punishment' ? They haven't been punished at all apart from their own self inflicted liquidation.

I would have liked an independent, impartial review of the SFA's practices over this at the very least. I don't think its something they should fear as the proposed inquiry is fundamentally about how the SFA has handled it's responsibilities and it's fair application of the rules.

Rangers fans like to bear banners with 'sfa corrupt to the core' so why do they not want a review? They were the victims in all of this after all. What is there to hide?

As. You guys say it smells of Petrie all over his bottle crashes AGAIN not to upset Donkeycaster & Regan so that one day Petrie will land a top job within the SFA.

Ffs man grow a pair of baws and hit that bunch of cheating Bas***rds hard why should they get away with it. One thing for sure Celtic won't let it go so easily.

Really annoyed over this annoucment from HFC

I heard from a good source that when the whole EBT thing kicked off petrie was one of the most hardcore for title stripping and sanctions against rangers. So something sure has changed. Anyway....

It's not about 'punishing' rangers although god knows no one deserves it more. To this day they are still being financed in an extremely dubious manner.

No, this is about primarily having a regulatory body we can trust, the point being they are meant to come down hard on cheating not cover it up and tell everyone to move on.

Like I said earlier - really disappointing.

I love this punished shit hahaha how can you be punished when you didn't exist didn't have a league to play in because you were a new club if you ask me they were lucky to get in at the bottom tier, they weren't punished they applied to play in the them SPL and rightly so weren't accepted, like all the clubs in the division they had to work there way there.
