Happy with that performance overall. Take that to Brentford and it should be another win.

Westwood - 6 - not a whole lot to do but his distribution is still not great.
Reach - 8 - is this his best position, defended well against one of their better guys and got forward to great effect. He is one player who seems to want to move forward with the ball.
Van Aken - 7 - mistake for their goal but apart from that very composed, good distribution of the ball and adds good height at set pieces.
Lees - 6 - I don't think he has been on form since Loovens got injured, maybe van Aken can get him back to his best.
Hunt - 8 - One of his better performances, no issues in defence and worked well with Wallace going forward.
Bannan - 7 - quiet to start with but grew into the game. Came more in to the middle with Reach coping well at FB and he is so much more effective going forward from that position.
Jones - 6 - Did the job he is there for, nothing spectacular but breaks up play and gives the ball to Bannan or Reach.
Lee - 8 - great to have him back, he is the link we need going forward and has a knack of being in the right place at the right time! Good goal as well.
Wallace - 7 - maybe his best game this season, linked up well with Hunt and his crossing was better.
Hooper - 8 - Covered so much ground, wins the ball and holds it up well, passing could be a bit better but he could have easily had a hat-trick today instead of just one!!
Fletcher - 7 - not as good holding it up but Hooper played that role today. Did his job though and was always dangerous, good header from a great cross for his goal.

Subs - none stood out but all did there job to see out the game.

CC - 7 - got the selection right, not sure if it was him that changed our shape or whether it was the players but I will give him the benefit of the doubt here!!

Difficult to choose a MOM, Lee, Reach, Hunt and Hooper stood out for me, if I had to pick one I would go for Lee for sentimental reasons and for getting a goal but Hunt was real close as well.

IMRE MATCH RATINGS COMING TO YOU FROM A HAPPY IMRE Huh

WESTWOOD...6 He wont be happy with the goal Forest scored as it was bread and butter for him usualy! but he did everything else with calm although he was barely troubled Thumb up

HUNT...7He got the sky mom but what do they know Whistle anyhow if we were to pick a player of the season right now he would get it Thumb up not because hes done anything special but he has been consistant in every game hes played good defending and some good crosses most improved player at the moment long may it continue Thumb up

LEES...6I thought his pace in coming forward the first half was shocking but it did get better as the game went on. However his defending was its normal solid self and when we scored the second goal he started to control the offside of his defence better Thumb up he still doesnt convince e as captain i think he would play better if he had less work to think about Thumb up
VAN ACKEN...8 Im not sure the goal was his fault as he couldnt do much 3 yards behind the attacker who got in behind lees position anyway ? he was imense good defending solid he won everyball in his path also he moves forward quick and some of his passes in the first half shezza would have been proud off Thumb up he looks class and weve hit the jackpot at last him and lees will get to understand each other better as the weeks go by and we will start to keep clean sheets again Thumb up

REACH...7He is the best left back at the club there is no doubt in my mind and he becomes more potent attacking when he runs at defenders from deep instead of waiting with his back to the goal he got up and down with ease today and is also finaly becoming consistant like Hunt Thumb up

JONES...6Linked in well with the midfield Giving Bannan & Lee time to attack Thumb up although he does tend to be to negative and prefers the easy back pass rather than a pass forward Hutch plays this better but Hutch is never fit so we are going to have to stick with him Thumb up

LEE...8MOM Hes the best player at the club he has everything you need from a midfielder his link play with Hooper in the first half was about as good as it gets in football Thumb up and we should have seen us go in 4-1 at HT if we had finished the chances Doh hes the pace weve been lacking in midfield aswell as when he gets it he turns defence into attack within a second on the ball Thumb up he scored an easy goal at the end due to the fact hes got a footballers brian and not Nuhuis or Joaos Whistle Brilliant to have him back we are a different team with him in it Thumb up

BANNAN..7Agian consistant and if he can keep this up with the rest if mentioned then we have a team again Thumb up his desire to run is back aswell and although he doesnt always wi the ball he panics players into making daft passes which now we have lee can win second balls and controll the midfield Thumb up he set up Hooper and wallace today aswell with nice neat threaded passes which is what our strikers have been crying out for for a season Thumb up its not just about Crossing the ball in its about sending a striker through on a one on one! something we havnt been doing for a long time Doh he did that today twice Thumb up

WALLACE ...6A fantastic first half Thumb up he turned the Forest left back inside out and continued to do so in the second half untill his legs tired (hence the daft challenge Doh ) should have done better infront of goal though but id have him in the team at least for 60 minutes when he plays like that Thumb up

Fletcher...6 Worked well with Hooper in the first half looked tired in the second half though but he got his goal so well done to him because thats all we want from our strikers ... goals Thumb up hes building a good partnership up with Hooper but with all the midweek games you cant help feel he needs a rest now and then which is a problem in this league and asks the question about whos going to be the long term strike force ? but for the moment hes the man Thumb up

HOOPER...8Worked his bollocks off from start to finish which for him is about the hour mark Whistle like Fletcher hes not going to last a full game but who cares if he scores before then Thumb up His link up play with the forward group was like the lee performance about as good as it gets in football these days Thumb up he did miss one sitter right at the start but it was a tossup for me today with himself lee and van acken who where MOM the spine of the team was well in tact Thumb up

BOYD BUTTERFIELD RHODES...not sure I think the game was won when they came on so they didnt make much difference

CC...8Bringing Lee out of the Vortex and not putting Van acken in the bloody thing won us the game and the first 30 minutes i was in football heaven again Thumb up sit the bastard up in the stands every game Mr chansiri as he obviously wants to be entertained there Whistle

Just a mention for the Ref and i thought he was brilliant Thumb up

Maybe this is why Carlos asked us to be patient with him as he settles into English football, lets not get down on him but equally lets not over blow him early on!!! He certainly looks composed, we haven't had a truly composed CH since Emerson Thome!!!! Lets hope him and Lees can devlop a good relationship.

Would still like to see us move to three at the back with the Portuguese guy or Loovens as the 3rd CH, then push Reach and Hunt forward.

Just watched it sort of live  Cool had CD's on in the car all the time and played Wii Mario Cart at the daughters  Thumb up

I thought Reach was MOM. Was impressed by Warburton changing his formation after 10 minutes (take a note Carlos) which negated our start and then making a tactical sub half an hour in (take a note Carlos). Forest gifted us the first two goals and didn't carry much threat but we looked very laboured when they changed tactics. The new lad Van Halen looked good with his distribution from the back but can he Jump ?  Wink 50-50 on the goal. He was covering Lees but he did 'JUMP' in a bit. I suppose he thought he might as well  Cool

Fantastic to have Lee back  Thumb up If anyone on here is religious can they please pray that he keeps fit for the rest of the season  Cool

I also thought that CC went negative by bringing Boyd on, going one up front and packing the midfield with 20 minutes to go but then Lee scored immediately and the jammy bastard got away with it Doh I really need to get CC picking my lottery numbers Laugh

Missed the game completely since I was busy escaping Irma and on a flight out of Tampa at KO time. Seems like my lucky shirt worked since it was. 3-1 win by the time I landed in Detroit.

Sounds like a good game and back to a couple of seasons ago so hopefully the full replay will be on the club site tomorrow. The new Dutch lad sounds tidy and an actual investment of a player.. Good to see Lee was back too. Agree with Imre that we are a much better team with him in and fully fit.

Looking forward to another 3 points on Tuesday.
