WBA Transfer Window - Final Day

Evans is due to fly out at 11am and has turned up at the airport in his baggies top on  Thumb up
So incomings may be short but if we don't sell I don't give Fook what we do on deadline day for the first time since Bomber was born ?
Then again the journos have hardly any inklings on our transfers this season so who knows  Thumb up

Username : Beefy1965 vs bomberbrown1968 hmmmm  Whistle

If we don't do any more business today, I will be quite happy to watch all the other clubs frantically trying to add to their squads with last minute buys that they don't really want - just like we have for the past, god knows how many transfer windows. If we can keep hold of Evans I'll be over the moon, (don't fancy either Mangala or Sakho as a replacement), Chadli to a lesser extent, but if there's any truth in the Janssen rumour I'd happily sell Chadli to fund it Thumb up

If you want a goalkeeper that's 6ft 8in, then you won't need to wait long, #wba fans.....as Costel Pantilimon is about to join from #Watford
2x Premier League Champ 1x Championship Winner and World cup Winner

Interesting on Janssen as Spurs launched a bid yesterday for Llorente which has been accepted so Janssen would be surplus to requirements.

SSN reporting Man City not moving on Evans unless deal is done for Eliaquim Mangala with Palace and even then not certain to progress in this window.

SSN reporting Pullis has no more money to spend without someone else leaving, but he does have targets lined up ready to go, if he does!!

now reporting that if Llorente goes to Spurs, Janssen may very well go the other way on loan, very happy if that happens, one goal from open play all the time he has been there.

Second post on here, thanks for the warm welcome lads.
Been checking News Now on and off all morning.......not sure my nerves can take much more of this Big Grin .
Such a strange transfer window so far, Arsenal seemingly in freefall, needing to sell to fund purchases, where has all their money gone?. Leicester slowly selling key players that won the League barely 18 Months ago....!!!

Meanwhile the Baggies are going about our business quietly and under the radar. So excited by our signings so far, Gibbs at LB is a real coup and releases Nyom and Dawson to move into their preferred positions.

I have always supported Pulis, the guy is a football genius.....then you look at his support team of Sir Gary and Gerry Francis, both whom were highly successful managers in their own right, and I have 100% confidence in every decision they make.
Like many here, I remember away matches at Hartlepool and Darlington etcetera in League 1, how far we have come from those dark days.

Its all about getting the new team to blend now, learn TP's methods and keep picking up points..... we must keep our feet on the ground.....this is still the toughest league in the World by a long, long way.

Perfidious, glad your here, we are a friendly bunch, we don't always agree, sometimes posts get heated but has been said before, it would be a boring site if we all agreed all of the time. Look forward to reading your posts agreeing disagreeing discussing all things Albion but mostly sharing our love of our club.

I wait in anticipation .........
