With town looking at rob green as back up, wouldn't someone like shay given be a better option? It would be an ian bennett scenario all over again and he would be a good option to help coach the junior players

According to Oggy on Twitter, David Wagner has revealed we are close to signing him.

If he's getting Green in, then Coleman must be going out on loan to get a bit of game time. Can't see Green displacing Lossel and therefore can't see why he would want to come here.

Davidson gone. Don't want to be mean but, he wasn't good enough, not just for where we are now, not from where we've been recently, but he wouldn't have been good enough for our lower league days. I would've picked Joe Skarz or Robbie Williams ahead of him.
His performance in the televised game at Wolves was appalling. Yes he had a couple of decent games, but overall......crap!

Well despite what he said on the pitch at Wemberlee, what he and his agent have done is the polar opposite. He's had the chance (apparently, allegedly) to sign new contracts last summer, last winter and this summer and declined them all. Good luck to him but I'll take the £5 million less whatever we pay in chicken feed bonuses to that lot down the left turn off the M62. He either has an ego bigger than his arse and his head combined (or his agent does) or he doesn't like the Wagner way, but has kept his head down until push has come to shove.

Misssed more chances than he should have maybe but I can't really accuse him of slacking the way some of those in red shirts with white sleeves with an army gun on their left boob seem to be doing. Either way, it seems to have been made clear to him that he won't play for us again. At least we'll get some brass for him rather than we get a no deal at all like with Scotty Arfield. Was a bugger of a move to Burnalee for him wasn't it? If he does well, he does well but in all honesty, I think he's not been well advised.
