Can't argue with Mooy as man o t match, but Schindler was absolutely awesome and would probably have won it but for Mooy's wonder strike.

Schindler was different level as was Mooy. Lowe also had another outstanding performance. People criticising Zanka for one stupid mistake but at other times he genuinely had no options in front of him to pass to so naturally passes would go astray. He also made a goal-saving tackle very early on in the first half, people behind me complaining about him need to remember what league we're in. Some players will question our defence, it's going to happen. First half, our intelligence in the final third lacked a bit of precision. We had momentum on counter-attacks and 2 on 1s but often failed to pick the pass or slowed down the play too much which allowed Newcastle to get back in position. Overall, outstanding. 2 clean sheets and onto Soton next week. Win there and I get £205 so fingers crossed for some extra spending money on my holiday next week.

Moaning at Zanka? Doh

Get real, people. To be fair though, the atmosphere yesterday was absolutely brilliant. Never known owt like it at home. Even for play off matches. We're definitely on another level now.

Has anybody any idea why Depoitre was not even on the bench yesterday? He did the half time draw but I couldn't hear a word that was being said.

Another great day watching the Terriers, the only set back was our bus was still parked up in Wakefield after the match. The berk had us down for a 16:45 collection Doh Fear not though we went to the Cinema bar for a pint, whilst the silly sods queued across the car park to get into the Ropewalk Tongue

The neutral may not have enjoyed the footballing spectacle on offer yesterday but as a Town fan it was engrossing stuff. Is it just me though that doesn't really give a stuff. Against the Toon last season it was nervy stuff, I cared what the score was...I was desperate for a good result. Yesterday I was calm, I wasn't bothered what the result was...I'm just happy to watch my team in the Premiership.

Atmosphere...fantastic, all 4 sides of the ground backing the team to the hilt(all except the box behind us who didn't stand up to love the Town Big Grin

Only downside and is you can't have a programme subscription. I was ok yesterday but I've heard plenty say they couldn't get one. Maybe a subscription would help?? (I have asked the club but no plans for it)

I was calmer than usual as well, Wakey. Could be because it's still early in the season and defeat isn't a tragedy.
But I reckon it's because I really couldn't see them scoring. Yes they had chances, but for once in our lives we are riding the wave of good fortune. Let's enjoy it as much as we can.
We'll have to come down with a bump sooner or later, but what the hell..... Big Grin
As Shakespeare said, summat about the swings and roundabouts of outrageous fortune.

Watched the game on tv over here and the atmosphere certainly sounded god, I just wish you didn't need to use those awful clappers to create an atmosphere!!!! I would have thought that this season the vocal support of the team would be there organically without the need for any outside assistance??

clappers seem to work for Leicester every game for past 3 seasons ?

Its to stir all our miserable old git, silent, flask carrying, non away game attendee Priority 1's - like me into action ;-))
