The table has a false look about it really because Man Utd have beaten two of the relegation certainties, whereas we have had two wins against a couple of useful teams.

I'd have settled for 6-7 points from our opening 4 games so reet chuffed with the way we've started. Thumb up Ian Wright giving us some praise to on 606 - not sure the Welsh Windbag would have done the same but he's off sunning his arse somewhere at the moment.

Interesting comments on the bbc match report and other forums suggest it was a championship standard game. We've gone up 20-30% across the team playing a similar style but have 3-4 better technical players and others like Lowe, Schindy playing out of their skin giving 110%. Let's keep winning taking points where we can, everyone waiting for us to fail and tumble down the league, that spirit amongst the management, board, fans and team, an excellent vocal support will pay dividends come May i'm convinced.

Some of the barcodes bottom corner today were earlier taking the p155 out of the clappers, suggesting our support was fabricated, by the end they were applauding our win, our support and belief that took the points as they filed out miserable as sin.

Great day in front of a watching nation and worldwide - 2nd can you heffing believe it!

Our wonderful Season Card bar code readers failed again, just like the start of last season. Thank fook common sense eventually kicked in and they just did a visual check on the cards/tickets otherwise folk would have been queuing until half time to get in. Doh

And if that was only Championship standard - it's because that's all Newcastle were. What exactly was Premier League standard about Swansea yesterday? They hit the crossbar at 0-0 and did nowt, nothing, bugger all afterwards.

I had to read my number out to the turnstile operator and he did it manually. Doh

Great result. It did feel scrappy today, but I think that was as much to do with how Newcastle set themselves up against us as anything else. Great to get one over on the locals up here!

Two clean sheets is the big stand-out for me.

Next week should be an interesting one, maybe a bit more similar to the palace game, hopefully with a similar outcome for us!

Last minute, Mounie given offside. Ref makes them take it in our half. Huh

This EPL lark is easy. Only 36 points needed now. Whistle That'll be at the end of March then. Thumb up
