it was never offside the linesman shit himself due to a bad desicion at the other end three kicks before ! could have cost us again the reffing which has allready cost us points against Preston and Qpr !

SCO's Optimitic ratings

Westwood - 6, nothing much to do, one good save in the 2nd half. Distribution still not good enough.
Hunt - 6, not as much of an attacking threat but did well defending.
Lees - 7, didn't give them any real chances
Pudil - 7, same as Lees, better passing that Lees though.
Fox - 6, not much going forward but defended ok.

Reach - 7, seemed to roam in the first half, more on the left in the second. Good pass for the goal and another solid performance.
Bannan - 8, ran the midfield, was involved in virtually all our good stuff again. Back to the Bannan we fell in love with??
Jones - 8, solid as a rock, gets forward enough to cause problems and won a number of key headers to repel them.
Boyd - 6, did a lot of running but too much backwards.

Fletcher - 7, ran his socks off and took his one real chance very well to score the winning goal
Hooper - 6, needs to make the ball stick better but never stops working, caused their defence problems all day, missed one good chance and he needs a goal.

Subs weren't really on long enough for ratings but all did their job.

CC - 7, made changes that made us look more solid, went with a diamond instead of flat 442. Left the team alone in the 2nd half when we were doing ok when last season he would have changed things after we scored to hold onto the lead. Is he learning finally??

No one played badly for the first time this season, was a good team performance with Bannan get MOM for me. Closed the game out brilliantly after the goal, kept the ball well and our passing was much better today. Overall a good win against one of the early favorites for promotion, nice to get off the mark in the win column and up to 13th. Best performance of the season by far for the whole 90 mins.

I still have question marks over cc but credit to him today. We got the win and it should of been 0-2.

I think we all have question marks over CC, but he has shown a little more flexibility and more of an attacking mentality with his subs so far. We have lost one of the opening 4 and now have our first win. There are 5 teams fancied for promotion behind us and the top 6 has only one fancied tam in there, so the Championship is again proving unpredictable and full of surprises!!
