WBA Transfer Window - Final Day
I don't really rate Wimmer that much. He didn't make the starting XI for Austria at the Euros, and hasn't really looked great for spurs on the few occasions he has played.  Every time I've seen Chambers play for Arsenal and last season for Middlesbrough he's looked a liability.  Its good they are younger though and could still improve and bring the age of the team down, but personally I would rather start Dawson at CB over both.

I hope I'm wrong about Wimmer, for he must have potential for spurs to sign him in the first place.
Fingers crossed, if he signs, he does prove me wrong. Thumb up

How can his value almost quadruple when he's played so little? Too be honest I've never heard of him and I don't think the kids that play FIFA in my house have either. Bonkers deal.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly told Manchester City they must pay £35m if they wish to sign defender Jonny Evans.

Do I get a point in the prediction league for predicting Evans value.

IMO, if Evans goes, we need to sign 2 centre backs as we're already short of 1.

Given how long it takes us to get a deal done, this is the massive worry for me.

Don't get me wrong, in principal, if the money for Evans gave us the cash to sign Wimmer, Ranocchia and the box to box midfielder that we're desperate for, it could work out better for us. But will this happen? It appears clear that the owners want to run the club on a shoe string with a paper thin squad.

If Dawson would've been suspended for his stamp last week, Hegazi would've been the only fit centre half for Burnley. I find it baffling how the powers that be find it acceptable to even be discussing selling a centre half when we only had 2 fit last week, one of which has spent the last 2 years playing at right back...

Didn't want to come on loan last year, not worth 30M, a full 12M more than Evans offer - I don't think so!!

Have I missed something ........ is it comedy season

Any player we want to buy starts at 30 million .... does not matter who it is woods, deeny, Gibson, carvaliho, Smith from the Waggoner and horses.

Any player we have is available at a discount, Evans 22 million, chadli 15 etc. These clubs can all jog on.

Current market makes Evans worth 40, chadli at least 25 ...... put up or shut up.

Sky and Talksport say Albion are mad to value our players so high but would appear ok for the other 19 premier league teams to ask Silly money! Arseholes!!!

Evans is a far better player than Sakho, Ronnochia, Wimmer and Gibson so DONT SELL because we need to add not make the squad thinner.

Some say sell but the speed we move re transfers we'll stilll be short in 12 months.

Good news ...... over priced Sakho would prefer to sign for palace if he were to leave anfield ... We could dodge a bullet there.

Can we get our transfers in now and end this media circus ........ COYB

It will be a last day panic again because the powers that be at Albion will be hoping to grab basement bargains in the hope other clubs will decide to drop their prices just to get shut of their deadwood.
