Report: West Brom want Celta Vigo duo Nemanja Radoja and Tottenham target Pape Cheikh Diop

If true, Pape Cheikh Diop would be quite exciting, Radoja some would say a slight improvement on Yacob, personally I would just say a different type of holding midfielder. If you want the game broken up Yac's the man, where Radoja is more a technical player.

TP signing an extension to his contract at least means that he's confident of the new owner's backing; this in turn has got to be a good sign, surely? It certainly seems to suggest that TP WILL/does have money to spend??

The latest in the series (published posthumously) see's the famous five kidnapped by the wicked Premiership chairmen, so they will not be able to fulfil their childhood dream of playing for the mighty West Bromwich Albion.  After being taken away, the wicked chairmen try to ransom the players, to the highest bidder, as they did with The Secret Seven.  Can the Famous Five escape?  Will the wicked Chairmen get their way and stop the five from getting to West Bromwich?  Only time will tell!!!

West Bromwich Albion will try and try to free these players from the wicked chairmen for a few years and once freed they will drop their interest and look at them again once past the age of 32.... Whistle

Things are worse than I thought ......

I have an app on my phone called fotmob, it gives me score updates news etc, it is gives me transfers and allows you to nominate your favourite team.

Well, it has just sent me a message .... "are you ready for the premier league start?" ....... is our squad that thin, turn up with your boots, you get a game ........ I am 51 this week and I haven't done a pre-season ...... surely TP isn't going around trying to sign up fans,

Things must be really bad .....

Still can't see Gibbs happening
At his Presso this morning he explained he had reports back about Gibbs that were unfavorable Huh

Wages the problem with Gibbs

West Bromwich Albion remain keen on signing out of favour Arsenal left back Kieran Gibbs, according to the Mirror.

The Baggies’ only significant outlay this summer has been £12m on Southampton forward Jay Rodriguez so far, and manager Tony Pulis is keen to strengthen his squad before the end of the transfer window.

They will however face a challenge in trying to convince Gibbs to lower his salary demands. The Mirror believe Watford pulled out of the running to sign the 27 year old because he wouldn’t compromise on his £80,000 a week wages he is currently paid at Arsenal.

The Gunners are keen to offload the defender with the player having only a year left on his contract, but if the full back continues to refuse to take a pay cut, he could decide to see out the remaining 12 months of his deal and leave on a free transfer next summer.

Gibbs is unlikely to be selected by manager Arsene Wenger unless there is an injury crisis. The left wing back role is currently occupied by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain but new signing Sead Kolasinac and Nacho Monreal could also be used in that position before the England international is even considered.

Heres someone who has not been tweeting over the summer but has become active for the last month or so
