Nothing finer than watching hertz get a scudding with a beer in your hand before heading to Easter road. Sparky gave them a right roasting.

Hertz young laddies played well,but their defence and goalie look shite and their left back had a mare. Lafferty is a donkey,he spent the game hacking and moaning,how he never got sent off remains a mystery.

I don't see why the jambos and daly are getting all heated about rodgers comments either,he's only said what everyone has been saying for a while now about the 'structure' at hertz and that they didn't have the players to play cathro's system. I doubt very much that cathro was in control of signings. That said his record was poor and he had to go, celtic would have binned him long before.

But i thought daly's reaction was OTT. Rodgers probably never commented on chelsea or man utds structure because there would be no reason to ask him. Unless they found themselves at the start of the football season without a stand, without a manager,and having finished third in a league of part time teams.

I just think rodgers just felt sorry for cathro because the same thing happened to him at reading,and somebody couldnae take it. Somebody with a large supply of post its i reckon.

Rodgers said yesterday he effectively answered a question put to him by the press and no apology on the issue! It was a loaded question and typical of what we're dealing with re the MSM in this country!!!! Change of subject but nothing different from the anti SNP shit on the Michelle Thomson story - the bbc and others started an anti SNP story on a political figure who never had a fraud case charge ever formally brought on her (although they kept irritatingly referring to 'the fraud case'!!), 'stitched up' by the bbc (their tv news coverage was disgraceful, politically manipulative and a character assassination) and other anti SNP 'rags' and finally exonerated but with a political career 'in tatters'!!! Then they ended the story with more anti SNP shit this weekend re Thomson being treated badly by the SNP - she voluntarily removed herself from the limelight because of all the flak created by the uber MSM!!! As for hertz, We all know levein's calling the shots there. whether we like it or not rodgers is a senior figure in the game up here and cathro has clearly spoke to him about the situation.
