Pedro Leon is a quick right winger from Getafe in Spain. He hasn't played this season because he was left out of Getafe's league squad for this season. I don't know why because he is one of the clubs star players. I think he may have fell out with the coach in the summer but I'm not sure. I will have to look around online.

As for Rodriguez, he was linked with us in the summer. He is a left winger capable of playing on the right side as well as at left back and is quick and very hard working.

It turns out that Leon couldn't be registered due to his wages pushing Getafe's wage budget over what they're allowed. I remember when he was touted as one of the next stars in Spain when he moved to Real Madrid. He unfortunately never made the grade and went back to Getafe. He would be a cracking signing though.

Due to the above, Pedro Leon should be available to sign in January unless Getafe sell some players ito make room for his wages and place in the squad. As for Rodriguez, he wanted to leave Atletico Madrid in the summer and is just a squad player at the club so I think he should be available to sign without any troubles or big transfer fee.

Presuming Varela comes good between now and then, the only other addition I'd want to see in January is a pacy/tricky winger to match him over on the right, because Dorrans ain't it, and a question mark hangs over exactly what Samaras has been signed to do. Creativity in the centre of the field should ideally be provided by Sessegnon and/or Blanco.

Looks like AI is anticipating that the U21's might need another quality winger who can make a few cameos in May when he is still trying to get "match fit"
