Went to the Burton Albion game this evening and have to say this Hegazi fellah was superb and earned a well deserved 'Man of the Match' award. One just hopes he continues these displays at Premiership level which, given his decision making, time on the ball and understanding with fellow defenders, should be easily achievable.

Rodriguez also looked sharp and took his goal well. Chadli exhibited his silky skills and once again looked the most naturally talented player on the pitch.

We are looking for another centre back, a replacement for Fletcher and a left sided wide man be he an attacking left back or left half midfield.

Ninety percent of the media links suggesting we are in for various players is total rubbish so although it keeps these forums busy, take the large majority with a large pinch of salt as all the media are doing is to fill their column inches and TV/Radio programs.

Those responsible for recruitment are hard at work but only looking at players who will fit into our mould and just as importantly, fit into the now happy dressing room without any possible conflict with current playing staff.

Keep the faith is the message!

So almost certain, looking at TP's comments that Mozza and GMac are not going to be ready for Aug 12th. Makes getting new faces in, even more of a priority, unless the club are planning on promoting the kids.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis admits the club need to do a 'lot' of business

The West Bromwich Albion boss is worried about how thin on the ground his team are
Tony Pulis believes the need to conduct “lots” more transfer market business was magnified by events at the Memorial Stadium.

Already short on numbers, Albion were depleted further by injuries to Matt Phillips, Chris Brunt and James McClean.

We need to,” the Baggies boss said.

“I think you’ve seen today we need to.

“We’re very thin on the ground.
We do need to change and I think everyone at the football club knows that.

“It’s just making sure you get the right players.

“We’ve made offers that haven’t come to any fruition yet, but we’ll keep trying.”

HAVE THEY ONLY JUST REALISED WE NEED PLAYERS?

we just don't seem to learn, the club itself said recently that they'd be hitting transfers harder and sooner because how disappointing last summers transfer window was.
we just don't seem to learn

There's frugal, there's cautious and then there's paying with gay abandon.

I just wish we would move from just left of frugal!
