no because they deceived the authorities with the registrations of the players. Those side letters were never meant to be found and only were when London police raided ibrox.

They used tax payers money to provide players they couldn't afford. They had no intention of ever paying the tax, they have defended their use of the scheme to the end. And thats before you take into account the damage caused to other clubs trying to keep up with a financially doped club.

Livingston had points deductions for non payment of tax on bonus payments and thats what should happen here, but the LNS stitch up and the change of league format to SPFL shows you how involved our authorities are in this mess, and how they have bent all the rules to favour/protect rangers/sevco.

Every penny they paid a player through an EBT offered the club between 42-44% 'discount' on what they'd need to pay to pay normally. When you look at the amount of players they had using the scheme it undeniably offered them a sporting advantage.

Astonishing that the league is taking the finest legal advice to make sure that blatant cheating cannot be punished. Rangers cheated and it's been proven they intentionally did so. The case needs revisited so proper justice can be provided and sporting integrity protected.

The ruling bodies corruption over this whole issue has been exposed again and again. From the SFA limiting the scope of the LNS enquiry to protect campbell ogilvy and exclude a previous tax dodging scheme,to the brushing over of the european license issue,to the dodgy registration of players/concealed side letters that meant the rangers players in these schemes were ineligible to play.

If this is getting brushed under the carpet the whole game in scotland is done for.

There is a clear inference that you can cheat in Scottish footie and the offenders are allowed to 'get away with it' and that is based on the conciliatory behaviour of the ruling bodies, which is an absolute disgrace and indeed highly suspect with a clear 'agenda' attached to it.

Its more someone like topping totally mugging off the fans instead of telling them to expect transparency and fairness. Which should be the very least to expect.

The reputation of our game is low, ignoring the shameless cheating of rangers makes it a complete laughing stock. Why does the Scottish league put the standing of a liquidated club above all else?

the reason they are defending the huns is simple
Its down to 2 things
The leadership of the SFA during the time where all huns, who knew about the cheating so the SFA are protecting them self's
And the 5 way agreement

If so then the whole of Scottish fitba is turning a blind eye to blatant, proven cheating. Hiding behind a rigged enquiry. If this was hertz or hibs the trophies would have been stripped long ago.

Too many scared chairman out there when the game really needs them to stand up. Pathetic.
