Joshua Guilavogui is the cheaper alternative to William Carvalho and plays in a similar way to Mulumbu when he was at his best.

Mulumbu at his best would be just fine for me!

Bit embarassing with so many with their knickers in a twist this early on at the paper talk. Everton have been busiest so far but everyone else has made just the one or two signings bar a few that have three. Palace haven't signed one at all yet, and with De Boer in charge I'm sticking some money on them to go down.

And that's after Be Boer was quoted by BBC Sport as saying he was 'excited' to have money to spend at Palace. I bet a few of their targets have turned their noses up at them.

Club transfer of ownership was the excuse last summer - one wonders what it will be this year.

Good if this comes off and a bit of pace too  Thumb up

Rumoured (in the Daily Mirror) to be heading the field to sign Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea.

Seems Chadli was not the only one to duck training in the Austrian mountains  Laugh

All credit to Tony Pulis, who's taken time out of West Brom's pre-season schedule to coach Simona Halep through Wimbledon.

Would be very happy with that loan! - can't see TP wasting Zouma on loan, not likely he'd consider freezing out a defender  Laugh

Good replacement, albeit a temporary one for Olsson.

Don't like the sound of talking to 2 clubs at once. The player (and agent) will presumably just be out for what he can get and you can't really blame him, but I doubt we'll win any bidding war.

There would be no bidding war Vic
As a loan we pay half the players wages.
It's simply where the player chooses to play,
I think we have the edge there as we could guarantee him a lot of game time Thumb up

Also can't believe this , but maybe one of them ?

Speaking of defenders, deal for Marc Wilson on the back-burner. Others pursued first before shape of squad determines whether he's needed
