He's a striker, but he isn't a great goal scorer. CO'G is a good player though who could make things happen for however many GC plays up front with him, which looks like about four judging by our midfield. A wily midfielder now and I'd cut our odds to 25/1. He'll be decent in Div 2.

Mind you, just as we nearly got our website up to date, we add another player to the team ........... Finally got a picture of Jay Smith, added Binnom-Williams and Jordan Sinnott and in comes O'Grady. Delial Brewster hasn't made it up there yet either. How hard can it be to keep up? We've already got pictures and the players train every day if we haven't. Good things like the new physio and a feature on our rivals make it up there; it just seems odd that the central point of a football club - THE TEAM - isn't kept up to date. I'm sure if AC could do it via Twitter for us he would.

If we can get that experienced midfielder in as well as the lad Reed from Sheffpoo (see what i did there ?).We could have one of the better squads in the division

Good striker. What worries me is that midfield. We've got a good defence and strike force but the midfield looks a bit too light. Need at least 2 experienced midfielders.

When a joke doesn't work, it's either the joke, or the teller. It's only the audience if it's the Glasgow Empire. Is he a full back would have worked ........... and would have made me laugh.

O'Grady is only the second player with any established reputation that we've signed. Everyone else is just promising or like Anyon, never was. It might be that at 31 CO'G's best days are long gone. It might also be that the extra bit of time at our level is just what he needs.

You do need an intelligent passer if you've got a wily front man in your ranks.

But, of course, some strikers as they get older make a success of playing a deeper role - food for thought.

Its a midfield we need. We could sign Ronaldo but if we cant get the ball to him its a waste of time and money. Hope O'Grady is a good long distance runner with the ball because he will need to be.
