Jacob Murphy ? Think his dad Paddy Murphy did our house extension which fell down!
Can't see us paying £12m for him given we won't even pay a lower fee for Charlie Taylor.
Anyway, isn't a wide player lower in our list of player needs - thought a striker, defensive midfield LB and CB were our priorities?

Certainly is Baggie, seems strange though it feels like most of the players TP has brought in have been defenders, yet suddenly we are very low in numbers again. Maybe they feel as defenders they have to work to hard playing for TP .

I'm also worried that Evans will leave, most likely for Everton if they bid £20+ million, even though we have no need to sell him. If we do, that will press volumes about the ambition of the club

Should have said "speak volumes", not sure where press came from

.... 'ang on, 'ang on folks......isn't this the same Charlie Taylor who angered a lot of people on here and elsewhere when he actually REFUSED to play a game for his contracted club at the end of last season??
No time for individuals like that. Good riddance, I say, Burnley are welcome to him

If he's a good left back I'd find time for him, Drewks. Assume that was a one-off.

Saw Taylor a couple of times last year and he didn't really impress me. A friend of mine works at a Championship club and said he looked very bog standard in the 2 games they played against Leeds, he didn't really understand why we were linked.
Of course, I haven't seen him enough to make a real judgement - but from what I have seen, I will not be shedding any tears if he goes to Burnley. I'm always sceptical about signing Championship players anyway, and the fact we didn't sign him in January suggests he's probably not a priority target?
Of course if he turns out to be a world beater, i'll be gutted. But I'd rather we signed someone with more pedigree.
