Ogo Obi (born 7 May 1998) was a forward for Watford. He has just been released. He was at one time known as the Nigerian Messi.
Obi joined the Hornets’ Academy as an Under-11. In 2014 he netted three goals in four games for Manchester United at the Milk Cup tournament in Northern Ireland while on trial with the Reds.
He became a Watford scholar after signing a two-year deal with that club in 2014 and signed a one-year professional contract to take effect in 2016/17 following his scholarship.
Now, I realise kids often progress backwards and early promise turns into Jacob Mellis, but Ogo Obi clearly had something quite recently. Recruiting the young worked for Jeremy Corbyn. That might be just the kind of momentum we need as a club.

Problem is Dev despite all the huffing and puffing and all the rhetoric, he lost by a big margin. Didn't even get close.
Maybe we should get in a load of Oap's. At least 10 across the goalmouth with the keeper in front of them the whole game in an 10-1-0-0 formation. Crutches and zimmer frames should mean no handball. Do you think it will catch on? Would be more entertaining than the garbage served up last season that's for sure.

He only lost because he's spent nearly two years being handicapped by his supposed friends. Seven weeks of freedom from the idiot right wing of his party and look what happens. Mind you the most decisive factors were UKIP, Scotland and Mrs May and her mental manifesto ..... Who'd have thought we'd end up with a Paisleyite government?
Anyway there'll be another election after the German elections. That'll give us time for a few meetings with intractable Eurocrats and Mrs May trying to convince us a Nougat and Praline Brexit is exactly what we wanted and nothing's changed.
We've already got a load of zimmering OAPs in our defence ........ I reckon Ogo Obi and Gozie Ugwu would combine well further forward. Onward to the National League! Strong and Stable!
As regards football though I truly can't see a better way forward for us than to invest in youth! I'm all for youth but I'm glad you bought 2 season tickets at your age too!

Strange how the worm turns, the backstabbers are all suddenly licking Jezza's bottom now they see the possibility that he has actually started a movement that could be popular with the people.
Lets get Brexit done then i might start voting for True not New Labour again.

I don't quite see how Brexit ends Blue. The EU say they have a negotiating position, but all they have done is state their own crazy rules and demand money (and after saying we could only have a hard Brexit, blaming us for seeking a hard Brexit!)
We, on the other paw, want out, we clearly want the ability to control immigration and to have freedom from the pervasive influence of the European Court.
BUT, as the EU ties everything to everything else and makes its rules intractable, any part of that is impossible.
Therefore skip to the endgame which is:-
1. No deal at all and we leave with only a few practical issues like air travel settled.
2. No acceptable deal and we cobble together, in lieu of negotiating, a way for us to stay despite triggering Article 50.
3. We agree to pay through the nose for the Single Market, Open Borders, The Court etc, which will make the vote to leave both pointless and expensive.

Nobody won this election it was a stalemate. As for Jeremy he's done something which has changed politics he's got my generation interested and he is willing to listen to our opinions and what we would like to see and what sort of World we would like to live in. For far too long we have been ignored like we don't matter and our opinions don't matter, well not anymore!
As for Brexit it will go ahead but I think it will not be a hard Brexit but a soft Brexit where we stay in the single market but except limited movement.
