Why would we not take Ward back on loan? Simple decision. Only going to get better and improved massively over the tail end of this season. His kicking is exceptional and done more than enough shot stopping wise. Commands his box a lot better too. The only reason we'd object is that it takes up a loan slot. No other reason not to otherwise.

Kicking is exceptional.......Maybe.
Done more than enough shot stopping wise........Okay agreed.
Commands his box...........Naah. Not having that.
Glad I don't have to make the decision!

This is more like it. We're after an 18 year old striker from Coventry. Jordan Ponticelli.

JASOG, his kicking in the play-off final was outstanding. People only take notice of goalkeepers kicking when it's garbage like Westwood. Coleman's kicking wasn't great against Sheff Wed and it was highly noticeable that we missed Ward. He's also a leader and I'd have him back in a heartbeat. Only guna get better. Low wage. No-brainer.

I agree with most of what you are saying there Easty, but I simply cannot agree that he commands his area. And that was in the league below. Different ball game where we are now. If he does come back, I sincerely hope he proves me to be a bit of a plonker!
