Actually thought they deserved a draw the day, sevco are so appalling they actually managed to create good chances down to 10 men...they look very badly organised though and their defending and final ball are awful. God knows what he is doing with them at riccarton..... and WTF that keeper was thinking at the goal is anyone's guess.
Needless to say bobby madden did them no favours either.

Agreed Jimbo, draw would have been IMO, a fair result. For 0762 to comment that Hearts were more disorganised than Sevco is as usual, ludicrous - thought Hearts bossed the game with 10'men for the bulk of the second half and unfortunately the keeper made an erse at the second goal but to be fair , he had some decent saves but will be remembered for the mistake- that's the burden attached to being a goalie. By the way, welcome back to the premiership - looking forward to the derbies and the usual banter

Agreed.......thought HMFC unlucky not to take something from the game , but for the goalies mistake a draw was on the cards.
Thanks for the sentiments IJ and am also looking forward to the new season and of course the derbies........good to have them back at league level. As opposed to the cup games we have had recently it will be interesting to see how we get on.
"FOREVER UNITED"
FFS both teams were disorganised during periods of this match and the red card incident worked out in Hearts favour because they changed their shape to suit their predicament. I didn't count down on all the mins of disorganisation from both teams, so lets just call it a stalemate on disorganisation from a fairly flat footie match TBF!! As for Hearts goalie, he'll clearly never make a decent basketball player, let alone a reasonable all round goalie lol!!
Btw the contents of this original OP + relative threads/comments cover Cathro's absolutely dismal record for Hearts and not just one recent game at Ibronx, which they lost anyway!! Lets not deflect away from the main theme of Jim's OP eh! ![]()

You bought up the game last weekend so was just making a comment on it as it involved Cathro. Time will tell how organised we are against sides coming to attack us and not as it has been of late in the Championship with sides parking the bus.

I just noticed Hearts beaten again by Saint Johnstone, this time 1-0. So tonight's defeat provides Cathro with more 'food for thought' re an awful record that now reads - played 14 matches, won twice!!

What more can you say about 'car crash' cathro ? Other than this guy really knows how to lose games.
Some coaching staff and number two's just aren't destined to be managers. Hertz should be moving him on in the summer and i can think of 3 or 4 scottish coaches who would go in there and do a heck of a lot better. Heres hoping they don't.
Ditto Jim! CATHRO MUST STAY - let him rebuild his team in the summer alongside their rebuilt Main Stand but with a likely limited budget eh lol!!

Apparently a Lot of unrest between the players and cathro behind the scenes.
